This ukulele set comes with everything you need to begin your musical journey. It comes with a nice case, some instructions, a gig bag strap, a tuner and a couple of picks. The ukulele is beautiful! It has a great sound and looks very professional.I took some ukulele lessons at a ukulele store while visiting Hawaii and I fell in love with Hawaiian music. This ukulele is going to bring hours of entertainment. I highly recommend this set.

The battery for the tuner is not included
The media could not be loaded. You’ll need to buy a CR2032 battery separately. They take this out deliberately—I asked. It really ought to say “battery not included” somewhere in the description. Serious oversight on their part to leave that out. They did offer me a partial refund to cover the cost of the battery, at least.Anyway, that was annoying, having to wait until I could get the battery so I could tune it properly. And then, after a week of use, the tuner seemed to stop working. It only liked one string, and couldn’t identify the others. I was all set to buy a separate tuner when I figured out its setting had just changed. There’s no guidance about the various settings, but by trial and error I got it back to “Uc,” which seems to work fine. This is the setting of the tuner I used to tune it just prior to my video. (Watch at your own risk: I’ve never played the ukulele before!) You short press the button to change settings, and long press it to power on and off, so it’s easy to change it by accident.Apart from the whole tuner fiasco, I’m generally happy with this. I haven’t put the strap on, but am glad to have the option if I change my mind in the future. The picks are very nice.It comes with an extra set of strings, but the strings aren’t labeled as far as I can tell, so you’ll have to go by thickness to figure out which one goes where. It also comes with a tutorial manual, but the English is poor enough that I can’t figure out what it’s saying. I gave up on it, and found lessons and music online.I love the case. Everything fits nicely in the outer pocket (except the instrument itself, of course).I am thoroughly enjoying playing this new instrument. If you’re new to the ukulele, be aware you’ll have to build up callouses on the fingertips of your left hand. It’s a bit painful at first, but worth it!

Beautiful - great for beginners
My 11 year old is learning to play ukelele in school and really wanted one for home. He currently plays trumpet and bass and sometimes loses interest in things quickly so I like that this one has pretty much everything you need in one shot and won't break the bank. This is beautiful in person. There are inlays and the wood is really stunning. I personally think the strap is a little ugly but my son likes it so that's what matters. Turns out this thing shows up at my house and he's not the only one who wants to try it out, my husband and my daughter have both been caught strumming away.It does need to be tuned when it arrives but the good news is that it comes with an electric tuner. It also comes with pretty much everything you would need as a beginner including a case. Also, don't freak out when you can't find all the extras, they're in the front pocket of the case. :-)Will he stick with it? I hope so, if not I might have to give it a try. :-)

No Foolin' Around Ukulele for Foolin' Around
First impression: I was surprised by the craftsmanship. The body and deck are seamless, as is the neck attachment. The fret board is flat and the fret wires are bedded nicely with just the right amount of action. The fret wires are VERY nicely finished on the ends. The tuning pegs are decent and adjust easily. The tone is rich and surprisingly loud for such a small instrument. It has a decent amount of resonance to it, as well - again, surprising for its size. The finish is flawless and, overall, this ukulele is pleasing to look at.The ukulele comes with a very nice gig bag with pocket - plenty big to hold the beginner's manual, supplied picks and spare nylon strings, and the tuner. As stated in the ad - no battery included. You'll need a common CR2032 disk type battery available at most grocery stores. Also included are a shoulder strap for the gig bag, and a nylon strap-type capo. Makes a great gift for the youngster needing some art in their life.

Beautiful little Ukulele, sounds nice and is adaptable.
This Ukulele comes as advertised. The one and only complaint is that the Tuner does not come with a battery, and it's an odd battery that I don't have and mis ordered a couple of times. So, that could be remedied to make things easier, because a Uke tuner is really helpful. The strings sound good, but you will most likely change them out. The protective case is fabulous and all of the promised items included in this gift pack, are included. Very lovely as a gift and it's nice enough to learn and play, with plenty of long term satisfaction. The wood and details of the build are good, and for this price it's very competitive.5 stars
