HestraLeather Fall Line - Short Freeride 3-Finger Snow Glove with Superior Grip for Skiing, Snowboarding and Mountaineering

This is a counterfeit product! Upon receipt we noticed an odd fit, then we took the gloves to an official retailer and compared the two items. Clear differences were apparent. Lower quality finish on the leather, poor leather cuts and sticking, the logo is poorly made and not raised. I am very disappointed as this was purchased as a gift, and the giftee recognized it wasn’t authentic - how embarrassing! Amazon needs to do something about this problem with counterfeit items, I am losing faith to buy anything other than cheap basics...

I wore these gloves a total of 5 times snowboarding. Yes the looks cool. And the are comfortable, BUT when temps drop below 10-15 F, they are not warm enough to keep your fingers warm all day. I should have done my research better, because it appears to be a common problem. At least they will last forever. Oh wait, ACTUALLY THEY WON'T LAST FOREVER. After only my 5th time wearing the glove I noticed a seam failing. Their approach to customer service is archaic, as I have to pay to ship the gloves back to be evaluated, whatever that means. For the price of these gloves, I would expect better. The quality may have been there in the past but do yourself a favor and take a hard PASS on these.

These gloves are extremely comfortable and keep you warm, temporarily!! They are NOTTTT even water resistant. I treated them with nikwax leather water repellent prior to day one. After an hour they were saturated and after a few hours my hands were SOAKED inside. They are impossible to dry as well. It takes a couple days for the leather to dry and the fleece liner is still soaked each time. Plan on a constant state of being wet with these. I ride in the pnw and the snow is wet and heavy and if a chunk of snow gets in the cuff it’s game over with these. I see them everywhere and asked around a lot prior to buying them and got positive feedback until I got them and it seems I only hear the same negative response now that I have them and I’m miserable with them!

These gloves work well on days that are cold but not extremely cold. The cuffs are a bit short and work best with a jacket or shell that has overly long arms as the jacket must go over the gloves. Love the trigger finger aspect as great compromise between glove and mitten out there. This is my second pair but first in blue. Unfortunately the included leather balm really darkens these up which is a shame but sort of expected. Without the balm these got soaked through on a recent wet snow day out skiing. I also really like that they come in a wide range of sizes not just S M and L. I wear an 11.

I rarely leave reviews, but in this case felt the need. These gloves are great quality, warm as hell, and come with a small salve for first treatment. Initially they looked small, but with a 8.5" hand, the size 11 was perfect after a few wears. There is also an inside glove as well for additional warmth. Great glove, highly recommended!

I've been skiing for decades, and I'm one of those guys that would rather pay for for nice equipment that I can use for many seasons. These are high quality leather, have nice insulation, and are well made. I expect that if you keep them treated and let them dry before putting them away and they'll last a long time!

I really liked the fit however I used the hestra wax religiously and the leather didn’t seem to hold up to its name. I’ve read about these gloves and was very excited to use them, not sure if it’s a different type of material from where they are made vs here. The value for the money in my opinion is a little high.... I’ve used several types of gloves and of course the mittens have always been warmer, I didn’t feel like they were warmer than any gortex style I’ve owned in the past.

Quality is amazing and I’m digging the grip that I get from these. How can you beat leather, I mean these are down right sexy. Only con for me is that they’re not as warm as my nylon Burton full mits so may use those on real chilly days. Maybe I’m comparing apples to oranges a bit when overall warmth is a factor may not be my go to that’s the only reason this isn’t a five star. But I’m a boarder and need grip less; I grab my board like a a handful of times on a given day. This is after one legit 3day trip and two day runs, perhaps they’ll get better after the first application of the leather treatment stuff that comes with them.

Die Handschuhe sind sehr angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe sie zum Fahrrad fahren und zum Gassi gehen im Wald bei Minusgraden angehabt. Das Leder ist gut verarbeitet und durch den Klettverschluss am Handgelenk sitzen sie auch gzt. Ich hatte beim Fahrrad fahren in der Kälte noch nie so warme Hände. Ich kann sie voll empfehlen.

Was hoping they would be a little warmer. Great in most weather. But a few -10C days have given me some chilly fingers.

箱から開けた時に色合いが青みがかっていました。まぁ青系の色好きなんでいいやと思ってついてきたオイルを塗ってみたら黒くなってきた。かたい感じだったのも、オイルがなじんでくると柔らかくなりました。けっこう暖かい感じはします。あとは使ってみてですが、今のところいい買い物だったかなと思います。

娘に買いましたが、喜んでます。
