I use this for silver jewelry fabrication with an acetylene torch. I use it on top of the large soldering board which has developed pits. What really like is it is large enough to hold all the pieces I fabricate but small enough to rotate while soldering. I've started doing this as a habit so I don't have to disturb the piece. Works great.

I don't know yet how well they hold up under heat, but so far they are exactly as listed and in a group of 4 that gives me a decent work space at a cheaper price then buying them one at a time. Will update if they don't perform under heat as expected but otherwise if I haven't updated, you can assume they're still working for me!
