This air purifier is a bit more expensive than others that I looked at, but I recommend it to friends and family all the time. Noise level: On the lowest two settings, this air purifier is essentially silent. The highest setting is definitely loud enough to be heard, but is quiet enough that it is just background noise that you don't notice. For reference, my friend has an air purifier that they bought for about half the price and their lowest setting produces the same amount of noise as my highest setting (while my purifier works much, much better). Air purifying: On top of being virtually silent, this air purifier cleans my air so well. Spring is starting in our area and typically I have terrible allergies, even while in my home. I have not had any symptoms inside my house this year yet. It also helps with odor in my apartment. When I first moved in, it had a slightly musty smell and within about 1 week, the musty apartment was smelling fresh and normal. It also combats cooking smells like bacon, onions, etc. Design: It has a chic design that doesn't scream "air purifier" the minute you see it. It is meant to blend in with your furnishings and because it is so quiet and chic, it's not an eye sore. TL;DR: Great air purifier that is quiet, effective, and aesthetically pleasing. Definitely worth the price.

Right out of the box, turn it on and it's running. Extremely quite in the lowest settings, gets a little louder of course the higher the settings but I use the highest setting either at night, who doesn't like white noise, or when we leave. My dust level in the house has gone down, when the sun is shining through the window I don't see all the lovely dust particles floating around anymore. Design is nice, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, very light weight and easy to use. Love it, well worth the money.

I purchased this unit several days ago for my master bedroom. After I took the unit out of the box and removed the extraneous packing material, I plugged it in and turned it on. There are settings from Low to Turbo as well as time settings. I am not exaggerating when I say that within about 30 minutes of having this unit on, the air smelled so clean and it actually felt lighter. This unit has been a blessing for me and my husband because we are sleeping so much better. We live in a very polluted part of Arizona, and we did not realize how dirty the air was inside the house. We had trouble breathing because of the bad air which in turn causes other ailments. The unit is quiet on any setting. It looks great as well. I just purchased a second unit to handle up to 1300 SF for my kitchen / great room area. You cannot put a price on clean air and the positive effects of breathing in that clean air. I am so happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this product.

Everything about the Alen BreathSmart is so easy, effective and the design is sleek to fit your decor. I purchased one for my son who has four dogs and a second smaller one for the master bedroom. Worth the purchase.

We bought the air filter machine for 700 square feet. It works very well for the room we placed it in. I have noticed that the room does not get as dusty. We will probably buy another one.
