I’m a big fan of Beetles polish and this set is no different. It provides excellent value for money. The polish is easy to use, a nice consistency and the colours go together well to great nice sets. Having a base coat and both a matte and glossy top coat included is handy if you’re just starting out and don’t already have those. These polishes apply well, last well and I’ve had no issues curing.

First time buying these gels and I have to say that (despite the size of the bottles) they're pretty damn good. Great coverage - the above photos was just ONE layer of the pink, didn't even need a second one. They lasted for 2+ weeks, which - given the price and how much I use my hands (without wearing gloves - I know, shocker) is definitely worth the money. I had some worries after reading reviews about allergic reactions but - so far - I've been fine and can only recommend these. They're definitely a little thicker than other gels I've used before but as long as you're careful and scrape any excess off your brush back into the bottle if it looks like it's going on too thick, they come out beautifully smooth and last well. Annoyingly I bought a selection with too many greens and blues (which I HATE wearing) heaven knows what I was thinking! Lol. But the pinks and pastel colours are very cute. Also, they come off well with Mylee magic remover for any of you out there who (like me) hate soak offs. :)

You do need to have a UV lamp, but apart from that I have no complaints at all. Application time for the whole thing does take a bit of time. But coverage is great, colour is good, selection of colours is very good. Comes with base coat, a wide selection of colours, and a choice of gloss or matt top coat. The base doesn't fully dry, it stays sticky for the next coat but the other coats do fully dry under lamp. Overall a great product.

Been using this gel for 4 months now. Honestly it's brilliant. Pros: • Really great coverage, its not thin like other cheaper brands. • Cures perfectly even under a cheap LED lamp, which some other brands struggle with. • Lasts at least 3 weeks without chipping. I'm sure it would last longer, but I remove it due to nail growth by thay point. • The glitters gave a good coverage, they do need a solid colour base, but all glitters do. • Cohesive color range, allowing for lots of nail art designs using this pack alone. • The matt top coat is perfect. Many matt top coats aren't great, but this one does exactly what you want it to do. • Doesn't stain natural nails at all. (Even the one time I forgot the bade coat, no staining) • Works equally well on natural and acrylic nails. Cons: • as others said the color bottles are small. I don't really see this as a problem considering the quantity for the price. Its brilliant value for money, but it might be an issue for some people. • Obviously regular nail polish remover won't take this off. I haven't tried acetone as I don't want to soak of my acrylic tips. That does mean it needs to be taken off with a nail drill. If you wear acrylic nails you'll need a drill to get this off without damaging the acrylics. Comes off fairly easily with a drill, but it does take forever to do. • Here's the BIG one (and the only reason for loss of a star)... I have no idea why but when curing under LED both the base coat and the regular top coat get HOT, or at least it feels that way, when initially put under the lamp. It lasts maybe 1-2 seconds tops, but it's WEIRD that, that happens. The first time I used them I honestly had a minor WTF moment thinking I'd had some kind of reaction. It's a bit concerning. That said I have been using these permanently for 4 months now, changing every 2-3 weeks. I've had no burns, abrasions, or other negative reactions to it. I'll keep on using them and buy more colors. Just worth nothing because I've never had this with any other brand. Picture of my current nails... 1 layer base coat. 2 layers solid color (only needs one but I was going to just stop here then changed my mind) 1 layer small red glitter (could have easily stopped here too) 1 layer large red glitter. 1 layer top coat.

Good colours always need pinks

Actually a little disappointed with these. Lovely colours and I tried to make it work but they easily get chipped. Also the sticky residue you get after curing takes a while to go away! Just doesn’t seem great quality to me but I’m rating it 3 stars because they are lovely colours (Photo is second day). Born pretty will always be my go to and very reliable, lasts way longer too.

I've been using the Beetles gel polisj for a few weeks now, and I'm really impressed with the quality and longevity. As someone who loves having polished nails but hates the chipping and peeling of regular polish, gel polish has been a game-changer. This particular gel polish is easy to apply. The consistency is just right – not too thick, not too thin – and it self-levels nicely, which is crucial for a smooth finish. The pigmentation is also excellent. I usually only need two coats to achieve full coverage, even with the lighter nude shades. The curing process under my UV/LED lamp is quick and efficient. The polish dries to a beautiful, high-shine finish that lasts for weeks without chipping or peeling. I've been able to go almost three weeks between manicures, which is amazing! I'm also impressed with the range of colors in the kit. The nude shades are perfect for everyday wear, and they look elegant and professional.

For weeks I’ve been seeing the Beetle gel polish advertising on social media, so I thought I would buy myself some and I’m so glad I did, the colours in this set are amazing, they are very high quality thick polish and so easy to use, they are definitely value for money if you like doing your own nails or just to add to your collection, I have already found more sets that I’m going to buy

I just got this and have already tried it, the polish goes on nice and smooth, I cured it for 60 seconds each application and no bubbling, and I cured it for 90 seconds when I applied the top coat, awesome. What I love about this product is you don’t have to use rubbing alcohol after applying the top coat, super easy to use and the colours are amazing have gotten many compliments on it already. Will definitely buy more of this product in the future and refer to those looking for good gel polish!!
