Harry Potter/Fantastic Beast Tamagotchi nano
Adorable tamagotchi! Got it for myself for Christmas. Very nostalgic. Added to my 90s collection 🤩

I love it
I love tomogachi’s and Harry Potter this was the perfect match. It is very easy to use and the instructions tell you all that you would need to know. It comes in two colors, blue and red. I got the red one and I am very happy with it. It makes a great gift for Harry Potter fans and it was worth all the money I spent on it. It does not come with batteries and there is no way to turn it off once you put the batteries in, unless you take out the battery.

VERY Small
I have to give it 4 stars because it does say it's small. But I feel like this thing can only be used by someone with toddler sized hands. We got it for our 11-year-old for Christmas (she is tiny) knowing it was a nano because I wanted to see just how small it was. I ended up sending it back before Christmas because it just did not look like something she was going to be able to navigate with it being SO small. I never opened it, so I cannot speak to the quality of the Tamagotchi itself. Would definitely be interested if they made a normal sized one though.

It's a NANO with advantages over other Nanos
Before you buy, understand that it's a Tamagotchi Nano, which are supposed to be more low-maintenance than traditional Tamagotchis. The plus side of this is that you don't have to worry so much about your pet dying of neglect while you're at school (or work, for those of us who never outgrew Tamagotchis).First off, I think the shells are gorgeous, and I'm really impressed with the wide range of characters you can get. There are like 12 for each mode, so 24 in total. The other thing I like is that after 3 days, you can choose to keep your character or let it "fly away" so you can raise another one. This is great if you're mainly playing to see all the characters, which I am. I have some other Nanos where the characters take forever to die or run away or whatever, but with the Harry Potter Tamagotchi Nano you can see a lot more characters before you have to replace the battery.I also appreciate that there are four different games you can play, and they're all pretty fun. One of them is absurdly easy, but the others are a little more of a challenge so that keeps it interesting. The other thing I love about this Tamagotchi is the animations that play every few hours throughout the day. Sometimes there's a big scary dragon, and sometimes an adorable cat chases a mouse across the screen (I adore this one, and just watch it do its thing for as long as I can). All in all, they really packed this Nano with features. It doesn't need as much attention as a regular Tamagotchi but it's much more fun than my other Nanos.

Used unacceptable product.
This was very obviously a returned item. Plastic packaging was sliced open in various places. The item was running on the battery and pieces of the packaging were missing. I ordered as a birthday present and I could not give it in this condition. Unacceptable purchase experience. Now I have to deal with a return.

Got bored after a week
I had Tomigochi as a kid. Guess I was more easily amused back then. The instructions are written SO TINY that I had to blow them up to read them. It's extremely annoying and I got bored with it after one week.
