Good design, but appreciate its limitations.
As other have said, if you are using this as part of an effort to defeat thieves, it isn't perfect, as a motivated thief could jam a screwdriver into the tab window and pry the Tune Saver off. But, that would have to be quite a motivated thief who recognizes the design and is willing to spend the time and potentially break the OBD port along the way.One suggestion: Once you have the Tune Saver locked on, cut a small piece of black electrical tape and put it over the tab window on the sliding piece.Otherwise, while nothing is going to defeat a professional thief who really wants your car, here are some other options to slow thieves down or give you a chance of early recovery:1. Keep your keys in a Faraday wallet.2. Hide some AirTags in the body and interior areas, using TagVaults. Clip the speakers out first.3. Use a Club; face it toward the dash.4. Install a hidden kill switch.5. Move the real OBD port elsewhere and leave the original as a dummy.

Costly but worth it to me
Used this on a tuned aftermarket modded s550 Mustang so the dealership doesn’t brick my car. Fits perfectly. Easy to use. Solid. Does what it’s supposed to. I have taken it on and off multiple times and I see no signs of wear to the lock or the port. Expensive for what it is but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of great options out there. One time I took a car in with a simple tune and no other mods. I removed the tune before bringing it in. I told them “don’t put software on my car”. I came out and my car had a new version of factory software. It took me upgrading my tune and tuner to fix it. It took hours. This little thing would have saved me a lot of time and aggravation.

BEWARE - Does NOT fit any Honda vehicle that I tried it on!
Beware! This OBD II lock does NOT fit Honda’s. This is due to the two internal bevels that can be seen in my first picture. I tried it on my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite as well as our new Honda Civic CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring. It’s a shame because the item is made out of stainless steel and would be difficult to defeat. I’m not sure what type of vehicle that they designed this to fit.

Locks Keep Honest People Out
This device works well. It fit two vehicles that I tried it on. A 2005 GTO and a 2019 Cadillac CTS. I purchased this after comparing several online and reading their reviews. This one does have a square hole that accommodates the nub on the OBD2 housing. As pointed out in another review this could be an access point to disable the lock function. I was thinking of a piece of sheet metal to cover the hole could be a fix. However, as I titled this review, locks are only a deterrent to the opportunistic thief so I think this device does it adequately. It will at least slow them down and make the score more difficult.

Fits 2024 GMC Sierra
I watched a video on YouTube from Tommy G about car theft and then went straight to Amazon to get myself some protection. I didn’t realize thieves can just program and plug into the OD2 port so I hope this helps in the event my vehicle is ever attempted to be stollen. Little pricey but not many options out there. Fit looks like it could be tighter but not sure, gonna play around with it some more but it is snug and could not pull it off. If I did, it might damage it.

Awesome Product, Awesome Support!
First off, this is a very well made product. Initially, when I went out to install on my pickup, I thought it didn't fit. The shape was not the same as my 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. I called the company listed on the product literature to work through the issue, and they were AWESOME. Come to find out, their machining is so precise, I just had to give it a little "OOmphh!" and it popped right on. Now, I really appreciate how precise their product is. Nobody would be able to remove this without destroying the port itself. This product is made right here in the USA (Marysville Kansas) and the folks that build and support it are awesome. I strongly urge anyone with a Dodge Cummins affected by the latest emissions recall to install one of these immediately.Very pleased with our purchase!

Really does secure your OBDII port
Works well, made of steel and covers the port. There is a little cut out on the side to allow for indexing of the plug fitment, but I doubt anyone who is trying to nick your car quickly with force it off from that point without ruining the actual OBDII plug.

Metal OBD Lock with Universal Key
The whole product is made out of metal and fits snug on the OBD Port of my 2022 Lexus IS350. The key works surprisingly well to turn it to a secure stop. Of course, nothing is ever theft-proof but it seems like it would cost some work to do to break the cover. My only concern is how anyone can buy this product (that comes with a unique key) and then have access to any of the same OBD Locks on other vehicles, since the key seems like it would only be built with one pattern.
