Easy read to pass the time
I liked Lucinda Rosenfeld's writing, but I found the female protagonist very frustrating. Phoebe's character development didn't seem to go very far and I found it very difficult to relate and like her. But I did really like the author's writing and would definitely read something by her.

interesting read
I really enjoyed this book. It was unlike any that I've ever read. It starts when the main character is in elementary school and follows her through every relationship. I found myself analyzing my own past relationships as I analyzed hers. Great read for someone in their early twenties!

Hard to get into
Reminded me a LOT of Chelsea Handler's "My Horizontal Life", without the funny. I read the first couple of chapters and kept hoping that the book would get better, but it doesnt. I think it would be better if it was written rom a first person narrative instead of a non-fiction. It lacked direction, and ultimately a point. I didnt get it...

Ugh
I waited 285 pages for this girl to have some kind of revaluation, and it ended up being 285 pages of a woman lowering her standards to please men. Not terribly written but a total drag of a plot line.

pretty good, early parts funny
I rather liked the first two-thirds or so of this. Once she graduated from college and her life became messier it sort of wandered off.

Not too bad.
Well written but not remarkable.

I loved this book!
This book was funny, except the parts that may have hit a little close to home. I think I would be friends with the author. I'm still thinking of Phoebe and hoping she hangs on a few more years. Things will get better.

I would pass next time
The chapters in this book run long. I thought it would be funnier or sweeter. It does not keep me interested.

Great book
A great summer read. I couldn't put it down on holiday. Every girl no matter how you or old can relate to this book.

Three Stars
Heartfelt novel about a girl's ups and downs in love. Very interesting and well written.

what she saw
This book started off interesting and I thought I was in for a good read. But it didn't take long for me to struggle with it. Phoebe Fine is a character it is near impossible to warm to and unfortunately I ended up just not caring what happened next.
