This is a really high quality grease gun. I had a cheap one that would was difficult to bleed the air out and never really worked good. Actually I had 2 cheap ones and ended up throwing both of them away. I did a fair bit of research and settled on this Alemite. I'm happy with the purchase. This is a quality grease gun that if taken care of will no doubt be the last grease gun I ever have to buy. I wish I had bought a good one first instead of cheaping out - I would have saved money by buying the quality one first.

Bought this to replace a auto parts store house brand pistol grip gun that had an awful cap design that was difficult to thread and never worked very well. Lever action is easy to use, durable construction and barely weeps any grease when sitting around idle for weeks with a grease cartridge already loaded. Mine came with the metal short hard line hose which I really like. I imagine this is the last grease gun I'll have to buy for a long time.

I have bought cheaper grease guns before. This one is more expensive and worth the price. A little hard to pump, but that will probably loosen up.

This is a great grease gun for the price, I have been through 3 cheap ones this year. I got tired of them not working and wasting grease or not pumping at all. So buy a good grease gun like this model to start with!

This seems to be really high quality. I used it today on some old zerts that I'm not sure have ever been greased since the machine was made 15 years ago!!! It took some effort to get the grease in at first, probably because it had never been greased, but this guy did the trick!! A word of advice, I've never used a grease gun before... use vice grips to screw in the metal pipe and tip good and tight... i only hand tightened at first, and it snapped out when i first tried using it. After getting it together good and tight, though, everything was fine 😊

The last thing I want to deal with is a grease gun that doesn't load easily or pump when I need it. This gun will not disappoint you! It was recommended to me by a professional mechanic friend, I purchased it and put it to work right away here on the farm where I go through a lot of lube. It loads and pumps perfectly every time!

Let me preface this by saying that this grease gun is probably the best grease gun you can buy and will last you a long time. I would have given it 5 stars, however i specifically ordered this gun because it had the rigid extension in the pictures and other reviews said it came with the rigid extension, except the thing is, the two i ordered BOTH came with the flexible extension hose.
