Wireless Printing
This server works very well. I bought it to make my Canon Pixma 4300 wireless and it does the job perfectly. There are however a couple of downsides:1. Linksys support. Dont try and call them otherwise you will be on hold forever. Use there live chat via the internet facility. They also dont have a list of compatible printers for the server, bit daft really.2. The instructions whilst trying to be easy to follow are not detailed enough. If you dont have some basic understanding of setting up a wireless network then you might struggle.

Doesn't work for mulit-function printers
After much wasted time, headscratching and calling the linksys helpline I find that this printserver doesn't support multi-function printers (e.g those with scanners, photocopiers etc) even though they are USB connected and even though I only expected to use the printer part. Beware! My printserver is no use to me whatsoever.

Not for Bi-direction printers
This had mixed reviews but did say it works with most USB printers. Well it dose not work with my Lexmark z730 (6 years old). I bought this as a way to share my printer between 4 PC's 3 lap tops 1 desk top 3 run XP Home and 1 Vista Home.Worked out the set up in the end which required connection to the router by cable. Found out later that there problems installing on vista but there are work arounds. The problems is that it will not work with printers that require information to be passed from the printer to the computer. So this will be going to my re-cycling centre, not worth the cost of sending it back, bought because of the Linksys name. Still cant print from my vista computer so will have to consider a new printer. There were only 6 Lexmark printers listed as compatible on there website.Of the listed printers all makes I could not find one that is still on sale.Wireless-G PrintServer 802.11g

Great unit but fails with BT Home Hub
Have used successfully with several modems but tried 3 units with a BT HomeHub2 and setup fails or hangs via wizard or web configuration. DO NOT BUY!
SHOULD BE EXCELLENT, BUT THEY ARE NOT. DON'T BUY IT. I'VE BOUGHT 2 ONE FOR WORK AND ONE FOR HOME AND BOTH FAILED WITHIN DAYS. THEY RUN VERY HOT AND ARE A TOTAL PAIN TO SET UP.
