This is the best type of calcium supplement to get. An integrative doctor I went to about 2 1/2 years ago had me start taking this. Since this is a hard tablet, it obviously has no flavor, which doesn't matter since you swallow it whole. I track how much calcium I'm getting from food products, use this product to bring my daily intake up to where it should be. It's a great product, the price is great for what you get.

These pills are huge! And you are supposed to take 4 of them a day.. I contacted the company to try to return or exchange after Amazon would not let me return and after a lot of back and fourth (first because they thought I was taking about another supplement I get when the total of the chat and the picture was this item) they refused any exchange or return. I am very disappointed. I love some of their products but this one is way too large for my family. I will look elsewhere for my other supplements due to the poor customer service from now on.

I have hypoparathyroidism and have to take calcium every day throughout the day (I love that it's 250 mg for that purpose). I have tried many types and brands of calcium. Freeda is the BEST! I also have gastroparesis...my stomach doesn't empty easily which interfered with absorption. Freeda is the only Calcium Citrate that I have found that allows me to chew it up first before I swallow it. The taste is very tolerable and absorption is a sure thing every time. That means I can keep my calcium at a much more consistent level, avoiding ups and downs...which means I feel so much better. I highly recommend it for anyone's calcium needs.
