I am very disappointed with this protein bar. I purchased a box as my usual brand were out of stock. I tried the mocha one. I’m finding it very hard to find the right words to describe the taste. I could taste the coffee, which was good, but there were other strange and unidentifiable flavours underneath. The texture is the same throughout, no crunch or caramel, as I have enjoyed from other protein bars. I won’t buy them again.

I've been slowly trying lots of different protein bars and I have found a new worst one yet. I took the first bite and it wasn't terrible but as I started chewing it up I found myself gagging. Within 5 seconds it went from ok to disgusting, and I split it out. Maybe the other varieties are better.

So very much to love about these- the amazing ingredients, high protein, high fiber, amino acids and lots of vitamins!!The texture... well, it is unique. I have been eating high protein for years so eat or have eaten a ton of different bars and never had one like this, it is hard to describe. Not real dense like a lot of them are. You have to taste it to understand it... it has no coating and no chunks of ingredients, it is just one soft bar.The taste... . the taste, this is where it all goes south for me. I taste no mocha and no caramel. It is more maple syrup flavored if anything (which I disdain). While the texture is unique and frankly kind of odd, I can totally work with it. However, the odd texture combined with the awful taste is just too much. My wife and I both toughed our way through one bar each, I don't think we will be able to do it again. So, regrettably, I am going with 3 stars on this although I so wanted to love it.

It's kind of wild how much is packed into one of these bars, aside from the obligatory protein. There's an impressive assortment of vitamins and minerals, and really more fiber than I can recall seeing on a nutrition panel. The texture of this protein bar is unlike any I've experienced before. I'd liken it to maybe a Tootsie Roll that you forgot was in your pocket until the end of the day. This bar seems to be perpetually soft, with only the slightest touch of a graininess. The flavor seems like coffee/peanut butter to me, but I wouldn't doubt if different people can taste different things here. So, at about $2 each, these aren't the worst by a long shot. Flavor-wise, this may be the most tolerable protein bar I've had, though I haven't had any of the other 4+ star bars here on Amazon. I should note that, with this bar's fiber and magnesium content, you may just want to go ahead and expect changes in the consistency of your movements. I would've preferred that not to be the case, but anecdotal evidence suggests that it is.

This bar is a nice portion packed with all the protein and vitamins I need for the day.

Well, the worst part about this is, I can’t return these nasty chemical tasting weird texture, protein bars they leave the worst aftertaste in your mouth. They are horrible. I cannot believe I wasted my money and cannot get a refund. Do not buy these are a huge disappointment. Yuck!
