Instead of honey
Better than honey. Lower glycemic index, and more minerals. I don't buy honey any more. Excellent flavor.

This is maple syrup!
I tried this syrup the day I got it. I gotta tell ya I used to make maple syrup way back when I was in high school at school. I’ve been around sugar houses almost all my life, they call them sugar houses not sure why because no sugar is used in the production of maple syrup. I’m from NH and have lived here for many years. I’m kinda snobby when it comes to maple syrup and do believe NH has the best maple trees then any other state. Vermont is a very close second the only thing that separates Vermont and NH is the Connecticut river so really the have the same maple trees as we do and just about the same weather. Great syrup the taste is rich and full. It’s a little bit on the thin side but still this is genuine 100% maple syrup. Don’t be fooled by the crap you buy in the grocery store. If your not getting it from the North East then your not getting it!

Very Tasty Syrup!
Just a splash on my 5% Greek yogurt, or on my bowl of Cheerios with milk and sliced banana makes a flavorful bowl indeed!

Good taste, color and thickness. Cap is a problem.
This syrup has a good color and flavor (dark/robust version). Some reviews mention thickness, so it's important to know that 100% pure maple syrup isn't supposed to be super thick. It's not as viscous as artificial table syrups that contain corn syrup, etc. It should have a consistency closer to maple sap, generally with density of 66% to 67% sugar to meet USDA standards. The thickness of this syrup seems about right. The price is good for 64 oz. Major drawback is the non-pour cap. Finding a replacement is tough and not worth the cost. Instead, I transferred it to a 64 oz. mason jar pitcher with a pouring cap. I like the idea of glass vs plastic and I can see when I'm running low. Found the pitcher on this site.
