Well made t-bolt hose clamps. I am using these in a marine application on a 2" hose, so I gave them the "magnet test." The only part that attracted the magnet was the little collar that the adjusting nut pushes against. it ptobably needs to be ferrous for strength. I'll keep an eye on that bit to see it it rusts, but for now, these will do.

These work great for exhaust leaks... my 07 Chevy Cobalt has a flex pipe cat right off the exhaust manifold that broke/split open... put some exhaust goo around the pipe to hold a piece of header heat shield cloth... cut a piece of SS sheet metal... wrapped it around the repair and clamped it down with 2 of these... good to go until I can replace the entire pipe with cat and O2 sensors which costs $$$. They sell a repair pipe for this... but if you are going to remove the entire cat to do that repair right... you might as well just replace the cat, especially if it has over 100K miles. Found that image of the (common) problem... did my repair in place without removing the pipe.

Easy to get a tool over the nut and doesn't create a metal tail that sticks out like the worm gear type. Do pay attention to the size range fully open to fully tightened because range is less forgiving than worm gear clamps.
