You get what you pay for with these, most of them broke after one use or didn’t work in the first place.

Great for securing gear while kayaking

Terrible quality. Barely even work. They don’t stay open or closed, the hinges barely work. I know it’s cheap, and “you get what you pay for,” but honestly these are such poor quality and BARELY even function…NOT worth the cheap price.

These worked out great. I use them to hold my luggage zippers together and the small ones fit perfectly and held up great on a long flight

It's somewhat cheap $ for a variety pack which is nice for letting you size out a project or if you just need something cheap to throw your keys on but in this case you get what you pay for. All of the clips have a decent spring and snap closed nicely but the pivot pins are a bit long and are likely to catch on loose threads. The locking carabiners have very poor tolerances. The thread on the locking nut is very sloppy and easy to crossthread on accident. The "low" open for the threaded nut allows the nut to slide far away from the threads which allows for the problem of accidentally crossthreading the nut as you trying to lock the carabiner. When the carabiner is locked, the nut doesn't stop and is allowed to slide over the top end of the carabiner. When the nut is above the threads, it locks the carabiner closed, but there is nothing holding the nut in place and it can slide out of place, allowing the carabiner to open. The locking carabiner is my biggest complaint. Even the small carabiner is better quality than the crappy little carabiner that came with my CRKT Get-A-Way Driver so they're not completely useless.
