Absolutely love this product. Just a bit of discolor on the lettuce after being in this container for over a week. The lettuce still has crunch and flavour. Well worth the price ,as lettuce is no longer cheap, to purchase this to ensure longevity for lettuce quality.

These jalapeños were lost in my fridge for over a month. I was afraid what they would be but they were still alive and eatable. Similarly the larger container kept my broccoli in good condition.

I have been using Rubbermaid Produce Saver Containers for years. I have been satisfied with how they perform in that time. Since I had a good experience with the containers I looked to purchase more. When I shopped for them I immediately noticed that the design had changed. There was no longer a separate green "bottom" tray, but just some "bumps" on the bottom of the containers to keep food elevated from the bottom. I was skeptical of the new design because I thought it was obviously a cost cutting measure, but decided to order anyway because of my past positive experience with the containers. In my experience the newly designed containers are not equivalent to the performance of the older design. Foods do not last any longer than in a regular storage container, and the lids do not fit snugly as they did on my original containers. For me, it seems like yet another product that started out good, but then suffers from redesign in order to maximize profits, rendering the product ineffective. Unless I can find the original version with the removable green bottom tray, I will not be purchasing any more of these containers.
