Useful, cheap
Not the brightest and only has one setting but cheap and cheerful and useful.

Not as bright as I thought
It has a wrist band , it stays there, but a tad bulky, not over light either with the battery onTalking of light, not fantastically bright compared to all my other torches ( want something I didn’t have to hold so thought this would be the solution), but it works fine, had no issues with it from that point of view

Oh Makita Really?
Oh Makita, really? Yep it’s cheap but it should be. Lacks brightness. Buy a dedicated torch if I where you cos this thing has the same power as the old everready torches if anyone remembers them. Not the best

Underwhelmed an a bit disappointing
I bought it to replace a head torch that’s powered by 18650 batteries and cost about ten dollars. It was great but the switch has failed after a couple of years dog walking. Given Makita batteries effectively have 10 x 18650 batteries inside them I was expecting something with biblical enlightenment. I’m old enough to remember reading a book under cover of dark with the orange glow of a torch powered by a couple of Ever Ready HP7s and the disappointment of falling asleep then finding out it was dead in the morning. So I’m usually blown away by modern torches and LED tech. Makita .. WTF .. it’s dull, boring, lifeless and I’m underwhelmed. Once the battery is attached it’s also heavy and unwieldy. I did consider returning it because I can honestly never see myself thinking “I wish I still had that Makita torch” though I suspect it might be useful in some context? So maybe I’ll chuck it in my toolbox and keep it for those long drawn out power cuts we are being promised. The manual says it will last 114 hours. Or maybe I’ll modify it and swap the LEDs out for something a bit brighter!

good product as usual from Makita
so handy when working in small spaces, plumbing ,electrics, etc. Not to big to get in the way, and not too bright to reflect back from light surfaces. Well done Makita
