Keys brake off
The lock, the keys braking off a production and design fault.

Very poor quality lock and not Uk standard
Do not buy this , looks nice but lock is not standard, so you cannot replace barrel ( which is very poor quality) or get any additional keys cut. Cheap Chinese import i suspect.

Great handle
It's a very sturdy handle. Opens very smoothly and quietly. I also love the look of it! Looks like in the picture. And a very lovely price for all this. Recommend.

Very nice look and feel
Very early days to comment on overall quality and durability etc. But the general look and feel is very nice. The handle sits well in your hand when opening and closing the door.Only one thing to note - the parts labelled 5 & 6 in the illustration, the part that fits in the door frame, are very poor, lightweight and flimsy and I wouldn't think they would hold up to much and could easily be forced. I replaced this with a brass constructed one.The fitting was no more difficult than any other door handle and lock.

beautiful looking but not standard sizes
Nothing about this product is standard. Standard size for the Mortice Sashlock is 64mm (d) by 102mm (H) and the spindle centre is 44mm in the UK and Ireland. This one is significantly larger, ( the spindle is 44mm) so you need to re-cut the door to get it to fit. even the front plate is longer.I fitted it and its a beautiful lock.Unfortunately i needed to change the Euro Cylinder to a new set which has a master key, and then the shocker - even the cutout on the mortice and the handles for the lock cylinder is different to the standard. Bizarrely is significantly smaller.So i had to fit a new standard mortice and new handles but now the cutout in the door is too large, so i have had to glue some pieces of wood in. lots of work.

A normal euro lock won’t fit!
It’s certainly not a heavy use piece of door furniture, but works just fine…comes with a smaller than normal eurolock, which fits, but is neither kite marked or insurance approved.The big problem, unless you use the included lock (which I didn’t) is a normal sized eurolock simply won’t fit. The keyhole is too small and I had to mill it out to get a normal lock to fit.In general it’s not a bad product, but it should be disclosed that only the lock that’s included will fit.
