I highly suggest this for someone who does not cook every single daySo, I bought this hot plate in September 2018. I moved into a studio apartment and made a makeshift kitchen. This cooktop was awesome, got hot very fast, and the coils lift up so that it was easier to clean underneath if food/oil/sauce spilled. Very easy to use. It's also portable so if I decide to move the kitchen around my apartment I can!ONLY ISSUE was that it stopped working yesterday. Both indicator lights don't come on and the coils don't get hot anymore. I was boiling a pot of water on it last night and the water stopped bubbling while I had it on, and the light went out. I tried multiple outlets. No idea what happened!It lasted a full 6 months, and I used it everyday, usually multiple times a day. I was impressed with the quality of work, I just wished it lasted a little longer. Not mad at the product, just sending a fair warning!Enjoy if you decide to buy!!

The heating elements move around so I need to be careful. I purchased to cook outside during the Summer to keep unwanted heat out of the kitchen. I have used 3 times and it boils, simmers, fry's great. Stainless steel cleans easily. For such an inexpensive unit I didn't expect this quality. Longevity is still an unknown.

Nice cook top. Working just fine. The only problems I have are: arrived with small piece of plastic trim broken off (I did find it in the box and glued it back on), second is the cord is way too short. I know the reason (it's in the little book) is for safety. But you still have the same issue when using an extension cord. These are both minor things and I have to say that all else is good. It works well and is easy to clean.

Bought to use on solar ...works perfectly for that use.2 complaints, it sits on wood cutting board counter tops and turned that area black from heat.Secondly even with so much heat within unit to burn my counters, the output up top is minimal.A large pan of water takes 40 mins to reach boiling.Otherwise a good product, does its intention with minimal electricity usage.

This was purchased because we needed a temporary kitchen while our house was being remodeled. It worked great! The temp only got to around 200 degrees Fahrenheit so we didn’t experience over boil any time. I even used my large frying pan that was about 2 inches larger then The burner and it still worked. Would recommend.

I ordered this because the computer for my oven died... and the part was back ordered5 weeks...So I pulled out my griddle, my confection oven and purchased this.I'm not sure if it's supposed to be for every day use... but it's been a little over a month and it was thrown away today because it stopped working about a week ago... nothing heats up and lights don't come on.When it was working ...It took a really long time to boil anything or get things warm.

Me agrada el equipo perse pero el cable del enchufe es muy corto a diferencia de otros equipos como este que poseen unos Cms mas de cable para la conexion.Por otro lado, el tiempo de standbay que tiene al descansar cada quemador, es muy prolongado y esto hace tardar mas la cocion de los alimentos.

Looked at some single burners that were more expensive, decided to try this one. Glad I did. Comes with 3 settings and even the info booklet has some good info in it. If you need to use an extension cord, be sure to use the same voltage as the burner. I started with a surge but it kept turning it off due to the difference in voltage.I’ve been using it for my candle business and when I need to melt wax, it does it evenly and quickly.
