Track Set with 1 Hot Wheels Car, Ice-Themed Track Building Set with 10 Track Pieces in a Modular and Stackable Storage Box, HKX40

A fun compact hot wheels set that comes with its very own storage, which as all parents will know, is priceless by itself! Whether the bits get put back in the box is another issue but it’s nice to know there is somewhere to store away the clutter when play is finished. Other sets in the series also have similar storage boxes which stack together which is a nice feature. The set itself is simple, consisting of a car (random selection), 4 track pieces, a launch pad, ramp and series of ‘ice themed’ obstacles and an iceberg. The obstacles spin, rotate or flip as the car zooms down the track to crash into the iceberg sculpture. It’s speedy but only the iceberg portion needs resetting each time so many cars can race down the track in quick succession. The iceberg is in 3 pieces which fit loosely together and my only criticism would be that this is a bit fiddly and needs a steady hand to make them stay balanced which may frustrate a younger child. Overall, this is a nice small set which is portable and can be used alone or makes a good add on to other sets as the tracking compatible with other hot wheels track. The provided storage is another plus point and reasonably priced for a hot wheels fan.

Good quality and worth the money

Depending on the price that you secure for this item (£16 in my case) it could be well worth it! It’s easy to set up. Takes 2 D cell batteries that aren’t included and you need a screwdriver to install. Sturdy as always with hot wheels stuff and looks smart. That being said, it doesn’t launch the cars particularly fast and forget about it shooting them up a gradient. We love a big track in our house and it’s good for a final push to get to the end of a track but “launch” it does not. Still, if it’s cheap enough, you won’t be disappointed and it’s a good addition to any track.

Purchased as a gift for a friend of the families 8 year old boy. He loved this Hot Wheels set and it is a great addition to his other Hot Wheels cars and track sets. Would definitely recommend

Grandson love it

This has been so much fun for the kids to play with - it takes about 2 minutes to setup, and once done it provided about half an hour of entertainment straight away. The kids have left it set up and keep coming back to it, so it's not just a one-time thing. The cars fit neatly in the track - and it all just clips together nicely. It's well packaged, although scissors were needed to remove parts of the packaging. Not sure what else there is to say about a Hot Wheels product! You know what you're getting!

I did not see this item personally. It was a gift for my great grandson in Scotland. He seemed to like it with his dad helping assemble it*(he is only three).

Es muy divertido, tengo 14 años y la verdad disfruto jugar con el, aun que consume pilas tipo D y llegan a ser caras.

Bien, está divertida y pues por sí sola te llega a aburrir y hay que conseguir más pistas para ensamblarla y aumentar la diversión. Como nota se la compré a mi hijo de 3 años y todavía le cuesta un poco activar el lanzador que es retráctil y con el tiempo se llega a aflojar y no lanza bien los carritos, se puede desarmar por debajo y apretar.
