Are use this as a Dutch oven for making sourdough bread and I’ve also use the lid for cooking various dishes on an induction hob. Have to say it works fine. In fact I’m actually using the lid to cook some soda bread right now great unit for the price. Heavy sturdy exactly what you want.

I use the cast iron pot as a Dutch Oven, with temperatures up to 250°C. Always works well with even heat distribution.

Really heavy as supposed to be love it

This is a well made item. Nice and thick casting, But the bottoms have a rough cast finish which would damage any surface if dragged over it. And as these are heavy so its temping to slid them into position.

This is a really strong cast iron casserole and/or Dutch oven. Great value and worth the money.

If you want to waste nearly £50 of your money, then go ahead and buy this!For a start it doesn't come with the basket, cutter etc and the actual Dutch oven rusts. Yes it's made of steel, but it appeared to be coated, but if any moisture hits it and you don't dry it off immediately then it rusts.It's not usable and a complete waste of money.

A beautiful double pan. If you are thinking of buying a cast iron pan look no further. You won't be disappointed.

I have updated the review and star rating I originally made of this product because the seller got in touch with me and they were very kind and helpful. They reimbursed me for the cost of the pan and suggested how to fix it (scrub the rust with a steel scourer and re-season again). Because of that promptness to help and support I increased the start rating to 3.Original Review Follows: At the beginning I was very happy with the pot. I oiled it and placed it at the right temp for the expected amount of time. Have repeated that a few times. Nevertheless, after the last rounds of baking there have been rust spots appearing that are only getting larger and larger. Now the rust doesn’t seems to go away.

Alors,reçu 2 jours avant,super.Ensuite trés trés bonne qualité!!notice en plusieurs langues dont le français,QR code inclu pour des recettes de pains.Alors,pour le culottage(trés important!!)rincer rapidement sous l'eau les ustensiles(poele et cocotte)bien sécher avec un torchon et un séche cheveux(oui radical!!)enduire legèreme t d'une huile végétale(poir moi colza)ou pépin de raisin,tournesol..pas arachide!(odeur)..bien uniformiser et enfourner chaleur statique 250 max entre 50 et 60mn..sortir et laisser refroidirpour recommencer le processus..(2..3 fois au moins)pas de liquide vaisselle,pas d'abrasif..toujours sécher aprés!!Conseil d'un chef cuisinier..Le meilleur rapport qualité prix..
