Well-Locked... But Not Well-Tracked
We used these TSA-approved locks on our luggage for an Italy trip, confident they’d add a layer of security to our bags. The locks were sturdy, easy to set, and had a satisfying little click that gave me peace of mind. But then came the plot twist: our luggage went “missing” for 4 days, locks and all! So, while these locks technically worked (the bags stayed securely shut wherever they went), they didn’t stop our luggage from taking a spontaneous vacation of its own. Great locks, but if only they could prevent bags from disappearing in the first place!

The Problem Was Me!
I had to trash these locks as I couldn’t set them properly. Therefore they became useless. The instructions were not adequate. Even tried You Tune. Returned to using my old trusty lock and key.

Incomplete instructions - look here in Reviews
Instructions that come with it are incomplete. If you search here on Reviews for how to lock & unlock (attached png), you will find a much clearer and somewhat accurate set of steps. Specifically, the printed instructions do not have the steps about rotating it 90 degrees and then again 45. These steps are critical to the process. 1 other thing - the start position is 222, not 000. Once I figured out the right steps, now I can set my own number.

Work Great
We used these for a trip we took in June, and I used it again in July when I traveled to Chicago. These locks work great. I had someone try to get my bag open and they weren't able to-thank goodness. I like we got to pick our own codes and one is black for him and one is pink for me-or if taking two bags-you can color code based on what's packed or whatever you want. Great little locks.
