I had been looking for this for years, good stuff from Ladd, and the cast. Scott is good and nice to look at, Kennedy does his usual bad guy with aplomb.

not yet viewed but case details does not state as "english "so came on with foreign sub titles and language it was advertised as English so I tried with the help of my dvd player remote but no good I tried all ways for about 15 mins but no good please advise

Paramount best release this much-sought-after western on DISC, because I will not have it in any other form. I think this goes for a lot of people. Paramount and others - remember you are privileged to have your market: one that has seen your past product for decades on end, in re-releases, years of television showings, and whom are still enamored enough with the films to buy them on disc. Now you're dictating to people again and offering them the film in a very unsecure form: place it on something more tangible than thin air.

This is a good film Alan Ladd has made some great films Shane being his best.
