20V MAX Impact Driver, Cordless, 3-Speed, Battery and Charger Included (DCF845D1E1)

Works so great I bought one for work and one for the house. I have large hands and it has a comfortable and secure grip. It Has an easy reverse switch and adjustable torque setting. It can snap off smaller bolts so you need to get use to the torque.

It's hard to go wrong with DeWalt tools. I buy their tools with absolute confidence. This impact driver does exactly what I need it to do. Super handy, convenient. The bag is great. Very useful. Would buy again and recommend to anyone.

I bought this impact driver specifically to build an outdoor kitchen. It handled drilling hundreds of holes and driving hundreds of screws over several months and never needed recharging within a single day. I consider it an excellent medium duty driver for handyman use but wouldn’t expect to use it for heavy duty or commercial work.

This is a great impact driver. I bought it to use in the garage as a light weight replacement for my air impact wrench. It works great for disassembly of smaller nuts and bolts and in place of my speeder air wrench for assembly. It's nice not to be restricted by an air hose. The only drawback is it will not fit into some places where the speeder wrench will fit, but will fit everywhere the air impact wrench will. Be careful to keep this impact driver on the lower setting for assembly or it will over torque the nut or bolt. This kit includes a charger and two batteries, one of which is a more expensive PowerStack battery, so there is always one battery on stand-by if the first battery runs out. While the cost of the kit is more than the tool only option, having a dedicated charger mounted on the garage wall and two batteries means I don't have to go to the house to charge or get another battery from my drill driver kit.

The product arrived quickly and was adequately packaged. I really like this DCF845 model. I previously worked with the DCF887 for about four years, and it never let me down. It was a tough impact driver that handled heavy-duty work and helped me complete many projects. Now that I’ve tried the DCF845, I can say it feels more compact, and the motor runs more smoothly compared to the DCF887. The LED lights are brighter and have a cooler white tone. I hope its durability matches or surpasses that of the DCF887. Overall, this feels like a solid improvement over the previous model.

No negatives. Works really well. Have used fo over a week without need to charge battery. Easy to mount bit, holds it securely

My first impact driver, I like the ease of the quick change collet, the POWERSTACK battery is powerful and can complete most jobs. I was able to register the tool and batteries on the Dewalt website without issue. I have this hung at my garage utility station and used the bag (small) to store a Dewalt circular saw. The only downside is that an impact driver is not compatible with older “normal” drill bits and accessories so you may need to replace them if this is your only tool.
