This thing is SOLID. It will stay where you flex it. The base has 2 ways to mount it which IS handy. I REALLY LIKE THIS and it's 100% worth the $. I have a Galaxy Tab S8 with a case that has a hand strap on it. It does fit the clamp but only just. To be fair it's not made for this but it works. If the tangs where just half an inch longer it would be perfect. Fits without a case and doesn't go anywhere but I can't recall the last time I used any tablet without a case. Still works!!!! The other issue is the last 2 arms after the double arms. It's going to wear out fast for me. I am pushing the upper limits wight wise but the screw has to be REALLY tight. REALLY tight. Even then those with heavy devices will have to do what I did. I folded the arm back so it rests on the other arms (shown in pic) Honestly have no issues with this. I don't need the extra distance. The worst part of this (ALMOST PERFECT) arm is the ball arm. It has no knob to tighten so you need a tool. Fine for me. I have them EVERYWHERE. (IT guy) Again I have it resting on the other arm (shown in pic) and again I don't need this adjustment. The ball joint itself is AWESOME!!! EZ to use and ez to move and it stays in place when you move it. That and the clamp itself are top notch!!! I need to re read the info to find out why there is an unused hole in the arms where a spring would go. Maybe another model has two springs. Maybe you get more holding power if you move the bolt and spring to the 2nd hole. That's on me not knowing and not the company. Although it's the PERFECT place for a clip that I am going to 3d print to hold the power cord. A simple twisty tie or velcro strap would work as well.VERY happy with my purchase. The minor gripes are mainly from me having a fairly heavy case.I highly recommend getting this arm for tablet users. Sorry I don't ever plan to put my phone in it but I'm sure it's MORE than up for it and my minor gripes won't mean anything. I've had more expense arms that were much worse than this.The only upgrade I would request would be get rid of the plastic knobs at the joints. Make them out of metal or use metal twist and fold clamps.(think removable bike seat clamps)Add some plastic clips for power cord control and you have a perfect product for my tablet holding needs. Oh yea. I use this on my bed so I can rest\work\play all at the same time.Check it out. I think you will be happy with the performance. Customer service seems top notch. I got an email after ordering the product talking about a change they included. Honestly would have never known the difference so that's a really nice touch. A company that proactively tries to curb questions or provide extra information when they don't really need to says a lot about a company. It's an inexpensive product that gets customer support like high priced product. THAT'S customer care!!!!!Pictures show the last two segments using each other for support as my tablet case is sturdy which means heavy. Without the case there are no issues and the tablet sits right where I need it to so just a heads up..

This tablet mount was good. January 2025 until now 4/1/2025. Ive only moved it 5 times. To two tables that were not more than 2 inches thick. This thing has no grip any more and just falls over. The screw part of the clamp has a flimsy rubber coating and hardly any surface area to clamp. I wish i never got this - UPDATE 5/8/2025 - Seller shipped me a new mount to replace the one that failed. I will say this mount is great as long as your tablet is not heavy. It says it will fit my size of tablet (12") But the Tab S8 Ultra with a case on it, is too heavy. It will hold it - but not without its downfalls. The clamp is the main issue - not that its not strong enough to hold it, It's plenty strong. And over all the arm springs work just fine. The small piece of rubber that covers the bottom of the mount (The screw part that you use to tighten the clamp) is flimsy. - I use this next to my bed so I have to loosen and swing the arm around out of the way so I don't hit it if I wake up in the middle of the night. I found an easy solution for anyone. The wood night stand I have this attached to is old. From the 40's or 50's. It's been in my wife's family for years. The wood is very smooth (not laminated at all) and not stained. I simply glued a small piece of sand paper to the mount (100 grit) and that fixed the issue I have. The original one just would not stay tight or have any grip at all. Great company for replacing this promptly and reaching out to me. Highly recommend. My final note - if you have a heavy tablet - take the case off if it adds weight and you'll be fine.

This is great, I love it for my Kindle Paperwhite Signature (7 inch 12th Gen), but it does not fit the Kindle Basic (6 inch 11th Gen 2024). The smaller adapter doesn't open wide enough and the larger adapter doesn't close enough to grip it. It's pretty sturdy, but because of the joints it is limited as to what positions you can put it in. Extending one segment effects how far other segments can be adjusted, so not all positions are possible with this one like they are with a gooseneck arm.

I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of the material used (aluminum?) and the design. I knew I needed something strong enough to hold my 12” iPad and its protective cover (ZUGU case) and be flexible as well. It was fairly easy to assemble right out of the box and everything I needed was included. The clamp is large sized and has padding where it grips the tabletop. The grip on the tabletop is very secure. The angle adjustment is done by gently shaping the angles with your hands, then tightening the knobs. It’s versatile because it can easily be clamped on most tabletops and turned in different directions. Amazing that it held my iPad because it is heavy. Highly recommend!
