These locks let go with a minor pull, so it totally defeated the purpose of placing them. Wanted to keep the kids out of a cupboard. Changed the code and it didn't retain the setting, had to redo it--then we realized it was redundant if you could just pull lightly and the latch would slip past the lock anyways.Don't recommend!

Great little lock. Great for cabinets for households with kids or Airbnb hosts. It’s quality, easy to install and easy to use. Not bulky and appealing to the eye.

I had to add an additional piece to my cabinet for it to work. Make sure you have a flat surface.
