University of Washington Black Metal Hitch Cover - 3D Color Emblem

Solid quality metal trailer hitch cover. This doesn’t come with any mounting bolt or hardware so you’ll want to order that separately. Would have rated 5-stars if they would have included a locking pin or at least mentioned that one is needed.

Bought the hitch cover to hide unsightly rusting hitch rack hole. The hitch cover looks sharp, there was just one indentation blemish, but not so unsightly where I want to send it back. Other things to consider, the lock pin does NOT come with the cover and the package suggest to wash and wax regulary to prevent corrosion, adding to the work. Probably should've bought a simple plastic cover and call it good. But it does look nice.

When this first arrived, I was very impressed with the heft of the cover - solid steel. Since my last plastic one was stolen, I even went and bought a hitch lock to secure this one. And then, 2 months later, my wife tells me that the purple in the W is peeling. I couldn’t believe it. Should have read all the reviews before buying. Don’t purchase - not worth the price.
