Toufayan No Added Salt Whole Wheat Pitettes Pita Bread - Lower Sodium, Vegan (3 Pack, 24 Pitas Total)

When you are on a very restricted salt diet this is a great alternative to bread. My husband cuts it around the edges so he has a top & bottom. Then he uses it for a hamburger bun. For breakfast he cuts it in half to make a hard fried egg sandwich. Any time you want bread you can use these.

This is an excellent product Pita ! It is exactly what I wanted -- no salt bread. It is very tasty and I broiled it in the oven and put sugarless jam jelly on it. Outstanding. I am trying to re- order it. O.k. to freeze and take out one piece at a time. Fabulous!

Due to my recent need to be on a very restricted sodium diet, I was very happy when I finally found a no sodium pita. I would prefer them to be full size but I have 3 of them with my salad so it seems like a full one and they taste just like the sodium ones.

Bread is wonderful, but even "healthy" versions come loaded with cardiovascular damaging sodium. You would never know that these whole grain pockets don't have a bit of it. They are soft, fresh, and taste delicious. While you should warm these up in the microwave after freezing, reading that Toufayan family story that comes with the packaging every time I pull out the bag adds a warm fuzzy that that makes eating these that much more special. Hats off to the Tofayans!

THANK GOD THERE'S NO SALT! I WOULD PREFER LESS PROTEIN, MORE CARBS AND HIGHER CALORIC CONTENT. IT SEEMS TO TAKE SEVERAL TOASTER TRIES TO GET IT TO BE CRUNCHY, UNFORTUNATELY. QUALITY PRODUCT!
