Comfortable and Versatile Camera Strap for Any Setup
“Comfortable and Versatile Camera Strap for Any Setup” The Peak Design Slide Lite is an incredibly comfortable and adjustable camera strap. It’s easy to connect and disconnect from my Canon R8, and the versatility of the strap allows me to quickly switch between my Canon R8 and my old Praktica MTL 5. The box includes four attachment points, two of which are already installed on my Canon and the other two on my film camera. The strap is sturdy and reliable, making it a fantastic option for any photographer. Highly recommend Peak Design straps for their quality and convenience!

Superb quality and a versatile strap. Just a little bit expensive.
The Peak Design camera neck strap is a quality product aimed at the professional or enthusiast photographer. This Lite model is the middle one of the three available and is perfect for mirrorless or light DSLR's. I am using it with a Canon R7 with up to the RF 100-400 lens which feels really comfortable. The ability to quickly adjust the strap on the fly so that the camera can be quickly swung into action is very useful. The main reason I decided on this type of strap was the ability to detach the strap from the camera via the quick connection system. Further anchor links are available which can be attached to another camera without having to buy another strap. It comes very well packaged with good instructions. However there are many videos available on how to use it.

The perfect camera strap?!
This was the first Peak Design item I purchased, and it was a bit of a gateway into purchasing more! The quality is great, the strap is very versatile and comfortable. I didn't want to buy the regular Slide as I felt it would be too wide, and am very happy with the comfort of the Slide Lite. I've used it as a sling with the camera at my side, and I've used it similar to how you'd use the straps often included with your camera on the neck. Both options are comfortable, but I do prefer the sling approach if I can use it. To my surprise, the sling approach does work even if you're wearing something like a backpack, but I'd recommend putting the camera on first, and the backpack over the top for comfort - depending on your backpack you should still be able to swing the camera around quickly. Peak Design include some nice extras and spares for mounting, so you have plenty of options and flexibility. It's a really quality piece of kit and Peak Design clearly but a lot of thought into their products.

A neck strap I'd recommend with one minor reservation.
It's a nice strap and easy to set up. I particularly like being able to quickly interchange it across various cameras. My only gripe is they have got carried away with the length adjustment and this means the strap is invariably doubled over. I'd have preferred a smaller adjustment and this would have reduced any unnecessary doubling and thus cut down on the bulk. Otherwise all good.

Absolutely freed my camera from the costraints of having a strap constantly attached.
The strap and mechanism are of good quality, sturdy and function well. It is not too cumbersome of a strap and together with the mechanisms give me a sense of assurance that it won't come apart. With this solution I am now able to use my camera without having the strap dangling. I found this very useful and has somehow liberated the way I use the camera. It's very useful for example when you just want to carry the camera in your hands strapless. Useful also for when you are using a tripod as the strap doesn't get in the way. I can almost say that I now use the camera more without the strap than with it which may seem to go against the point of acquiring the strap.. But this is its strength as you can attach it back at a moments notice when you're ready to carry it over your shoulder or around your neck. Also I use two cameras so I can switch the strap to either one and only carry one strap in my camera case and this is another advantage as it saves space. Highly recommended

Very expensive (I think) but it does what everyone says it does and I would buy it again.
I bought this to use on photography workshops when using my Nikon Z6. Some people think that's a small, light camera. It's not small and light to me and I wanted a strap that would be comfortable to use while walking around London for 6 hours shooting street photography. First things first, it was comfortable for all that time and it held the camera securely. I didn't feel it swaying about as I always have with the included straps (which I hate). For that reason alone I'm now a convert to this Peak Design strap, despite the cost (you might think it's a fair price, I still think it's ridiculous for a strap). Next, it has a variety of carrying styles. I used it round my neck, simply because of how I was going to be shooting. I might try it with the side sling configuration when I’m on a more leisurely shoot, but I saw one guy using the same strap that way on the workshop I attended and he seemed to have no problem with it. I think as a side sling it was marginally slower to raise the camera, but we're talking fractions of a second. I can't talk about long term wear and tear, because I've only just got this. From all I've read they hold up ok. One one side of the strap, around where you'd have it on your neck, there's a rubberised grip (not too pronounced) and that really does stop the camera/strap combo from slipping. That's always been a problem for me with included cameras straps when I've had them over my shoulder, rather than over my neck. The grip on this strap prevents that so that's a big plus in my eyes. The little eyelet type attachments work very well and snap in and out easily. You can buy extras so if you have several cameras you can use a single strap and share it with all of them as you need to (assuming you only take one camera with you when out shooting). I don't think the extra attachments are super, super cheap, but they're cheaper than a whole strap package so overall you could get some economy there. Would I buy this strap again? Yes, I would, despite moaning about the price. I got the black version since I don't want to call attention to myself when on the streets, but they do have some nice looking versions. That's purely a matter of taste, of course. Would I buy a second strap? Probably not, since I rarely take more than one camera with me when I'm out and about so I can just use this strap on any of them. I just need a few spare attachments. Actually, you can remove them from your camera pretty fast anyway, so moving the whole thing from one camera to another would probably take less than a minute. They do have a broader strap for heavier cameras, but this one is rated for heavier than my Z6 so I don't know if I'd need anything bigger than the Slide Lite. If I ever do need a heavier duty strap, the Peak Design would probably be my first choice. It was nice to fit the strap and forget about it. That's not really something I've ever been able to do with an included strap. They always seem to have something not quite right about them and I really don't like how they emblazon the brand all over them. I don't want to advertise the camera I'm carrying from a distance. There are enough pickpockets around without attracting their attention with a bright yellow Nikon logo!

Excellent strap.
Excellent product. Perhaps a tad expensive, but a quality item. Very well made and designed. Should last years. Check out it being demonstrated on You Tube. Highly recommended.

I ordered the Peak Design Slide and the Peak Design Slide Lite was delivered. I especially made this order after some study on both. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, which is also ruined due to this.

Camera straps that come with the bodies you buy are cheap. They fray easily, they're hard to adjust, and can sometimes cause your camera to flail around and hit things when you walk. As soon as I opened the box, I could feel the quality. Sure, it's an expensive strap, but it's good to pay a bit of money to ensure your camera is secure as you carry it. Upon installation, it felt great. The anchors slide on and off the strap well, and the way it is set up allows me to draw, aim, and fire quickly and smoothly. It's on my gripped D750, and it holds it securely with no issues. If you want to avoid paying the premium for the thicker Slide, get the Slide Lite for your DSLR and I am confident you will not have any problems. One small issue I had with the strap is the metal anchor points on the strap itself – they are much harder than plastic which makes them extremely durable, but I get a lot of metal on metal action with the rubbing of the anchors on my camera. I fixed this issue by covering the parts where rubbing occurs with electrical tape. Problem solved! By the way, keep in mind that you are receiving V3 anchors with this purchase. They have had a 1 in 17000 fail rate with these anchors, so use them at your own risk – however, you can always grab free V4 replacements on their website, so I do not know why people complain about the recall being such a huge deal. All in all, the Slide Lite is an extremely great strap and with my shooting style, it is close to the perfect strap. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is looking for a better strap for their camera!

I also bought Peak Design BEDS-3-BK-2 Everyday Sling v2, fantastic bag. Just nice for one Leica M and two lenses

The best belt I could ever imagine. It feels like a car seatbelt or airplane’s belt… so rough and professional. It fits perfectly on my smallrig cage protecter. I recommend it 100% worth every cent.
