Perfect!
Item arrived nice and quickly. I've now used this for ten different 2.5 SATA drives from the old work laptops and netbooks and the item works perfectly as described. The blue light flashes when formatting is happening. I now have drives ready to become externals thanks to this little cable. Both USB plugs works and power the HDD if needed like described.I have not yet found a fault with this item and is one of the best purchases I have made.

This cable USB 2.0 to SATA was perfect for my raspberry pi b+ so i could attach a storage to my project. The second male USB header was used for the power to the laptop hard drive its works like a treat. Great delivery time it came the next day. i would recommend his product over others that i used. the only thing i would like it to have but it isn't to big of a problem is the cable length of the second male USB.

Great budget option
Worked perfectly despite the low cost. If you only need to use it once or twice, as was the case with me, it's fine (and might even be fine if you needed to use it more.

but quality isn't good at all
Serves the purpose, but quality isn't good at all. Looks very cheap materials have been used and would probably break if you use it frequently. The USB cord not great quality so is the converter .
