NPET Cat Water Fountain, 3L Automatic Pet Drinking Fountain Dog Water Dispenser with Quadruple-Action Filter (Semi-Blue, with an Adapter)

I bought this fountain (in clear) two years ago because it was the largest capacity I could find. Had it for a year then suspect the pet sitter let the water get too low and the motor burned up. Just like a boat, you can't run the motor without water intake.So I ordered another last year but last week the motor stopped working again so I contacted them. They sent out a new motor at no charge and I had it in three business days. Great service!It's easy to take apart to clean, holds enough that it doesn't need refilling every day (even with two cats and a German shepherd), and is so quiet the only sound is running water, like a regular small fountain.You do need to use a small flathead screwdriver to pop the front of the motor off to clean it, but it comes off easily (small notches on side and top corner).

It's pretty. Slightly bigger than I expected it to be but that doesn't affect anything.The noise level is like a quiet trickle-easy to drown out. The sensor makes a quiet tick sound when it comes on.Couple things to note. The cables are long. Not super long, but lengthy. Tucked them behind the box easily and they sit out of sight for the most part. The sensor is crazy sensitive, maybe at night when movement isn't happening in the main area it's fine. It's not really a problem at all. I'm just unnecessarily conscious about it. One gripe I have is that the control button, for the sensor, is on the back part of the sensor that sticks to the wall or whatever you decide to stick it to.Assembly was easy, instructions were good.Instruction manual mentions a faucet attachment that is not mentioned in the Amazon page. Faucet attachement did not come with my order.Blue lights light up when the water is running. All lights turn off when the pump times out. Cleaning tools that come with it look to be of high quality.Take away is that I'm happy with the product. Definitely recommend it and I'll be recommending it to friends.**Adding more information months after purchase. My satisfaction with this product still holds. I also discovered that this thing is super cleanable.-you can take apart the motor to clean inside it.-you can remove the white tray from the clear barrier where the light shines through at the top. This allows you to get to the gunk that builds up around the edges. Its difficult to remove though so put your back into it but be careful not to break it. Pops back into place easily.If you don't clean the motor out then you risk killing it quickly. If it does die then you can just buy another on Amazon. I'm still looking for a filter replacement because you can only buy like, 4 for 12$. Strongly considering some aquarium filter and cutting to size.Definitely don't regret this purchase!

After rescuing this lil guy (left in a hotel bathroom without food covered in fleas; ears full of mites, he lost hearing in right ear) I couldn't get him to drink from anything it was a full time job trying to get him to drink from anything; I had to make sure all the toilet seats were down and no dishes were ever left in the sink. At a loss I called the vet and she suggested a water system. I went with a cheap option because I didn't know if he'd take to it or not but he LOVES IT! The water stays very cold, it's quiet, easy to clean, but difficult to attach the lid since it needs to be lined up with the tube on the bottom. I can't speak for longevity since I've only had this just over a month now; if you have a picky cat don't hesitate to purchase! Other water systems give off an electrical current so please do your research before purchasing; you won't ever have to worry about that with this due to its clever design. Read instructions carefully as it was difficult to line the tubing up to attach the lid, but if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO!EDIT (AFTER 18 MONTHS OF RUNNING 24/7) - Let me just say, this thing is still going strong! I have had no issues with the pump and it works great. Of course, I do make sure to clean the entire fountain and each individual piece every 2 weeks, and I always keep the pump submerged in water to ensure its longevity. One tip I have discovered is that adding 2 bottles of water once I can hear the water coming out of the fountain keeps it silent and prevents the pump from burning out. However, I did find that the sponge type filter did not effectively keep the water clean, so I stopped using filters after the first month. Overall, I am still very satisfied with this cat water fountain and highly recommend it to other cat owners.

Just wanted to say the customer service was fantastic. The first one I had stopped working, contacted company and I had a replacement within 5 days. My animals also love it, and are definately drinking more. Wishing I had of purchased sooner.

Had tried other cat fountains but my cat never used to drink from them. I guess it's the transparent thing that works. Whatever be the reason, has worked wonders for the water intake of my cat. It's easy to install and maintain

i have observed that cats are attracted to flowing water ...this fountain is durable and also encourages my cat to have more water....though assembly is a bit tedious as manual is a bit unuserfriendly (i did not recieve the adapter mentioned in the manual...aster buying one of the most expensive fountain) works just fine......
