Trusty versatile emergency lamp
Very well built emergency light with several options that make it a very good option when looking for being ready for emergencies. I love having a USB-C connector available to be able to charge my phone in an emergency, as well as being able to also use it to charge the light. The radio function is a nice addition, finding the correct FM station is a bit of a hussle if you’re looking for a particular one… I guess in an emergency you’re just looking for whatever’s sending any helpful information at that very moment. The crank handle is very easy to move and thus charging the device is easy, although for me it was not easy to determine the charging level while using the lever; I had to plug it in to a charger and so be able to see when it was fully charged. The light that comes out of the device is very bright but very focused, more of a spot light than a flood light. I was able to easily illuminate things that were more than 100 feet away.

Would work for emergencies...not a flashlight to use daily for sure
I got this to throw in my emergency tote. Thats what its designed for to me. I'm able to tune local AM and FM stations without issue. Volume is decent. Flashlight is decent. Will work if you NEED one. Has a small focused bright "spot" and a substantially dimmer "flood" around it. Light is a bright white though, not purple or bluish like other flashlights. There is no battery status lights, which would be helpful. The SOS feature sounds an alarm and flashes the SOS signal with the light portion. AM/FM is activated by turning the volume knob from off position, turning the volume up. It is operated separately from the light, SOS and the charge port. Looks like you can charge it via usb-c in addition to the hand crank. Fairly comfortable to hold, fits in the hand well and no noticeable edges while holding.1 minute of cranking pretty intensely got me about 15+ mins with the flashlight. Which surprised me.
