Plus Capsules 100mg (30 Capsules)

I've been using these for years for my dog who was diagnosed with sclerosis of the liver when he was 3. He was deathly ill and vets only gave him 6 months, max. He wasn't eating and his weight dropped dramatically, he was retaining fluid and diuretics the vet were giving him were damaging his kidneys.Then after doing my own research (our vet was hopeless) I discovered these and thought, "what's the harm"? Within a week my dog was eating, showing an interest in life again, within a month he was back to his old self!Initially I gave him 3/day as per instructions and once I got him back on track I reduced him to one/day and he is 12 now! He had a little set back recently, and all I did was put him back up to 3/day, and within 3 days I could see him improving.If it wasn't for these, I'd have lost my boy all those years ago. They are worth their weight in gold!

These gel caps are way too big for a cat. I also realised the dose of one capsule for a 4-7kg cat is too high as my cat weighs 3kg.The 50mg capsules are presumably smaller and so probably better for cats.She won’t eat her food with the powder mixed in. I’ve managed to get it down her by mixing with a bit of yoghurt treat and leaving this on her front paws to clean off. So these won’t go to waste but I’ll try an alternative next timeA big bonus is that these haven’t made her nauseous, which was a big issue with denamarin.***adding this a week later. Mixing with yoghurt treat for her to clean off her paws wasn’t working well. I tried dissolving in a little water and administering with a syringe but she hates this and I worry about her accidentally inhaling it. I’ll be throwing the rest away. Maybe the 50mg will be a better size for cats.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to my dogs current medication ( i ended up giving 2 tablets so worked out the same price). However they are just as effective and do the job intended.

It's a good price but how can you REALLY tell if a SAMe supplement is doing any good?Here's hoping my dog has a successful blood test

My dog has liver disease and was prescribed these by the vets, found them cheaper online. They are just the same and life saving for my dog.It had saved me a fortune.
