African Tarot Deck

I wanted a travel size deck that featured melanated people and I found this in my search. It has kid like illustrations but I don't mind I find them uplifting during readings. The quality is good and it's easy to shuffle. Smaller than a tin size tarot.

I like this deck far more than I had anticipated that I would...The images are “friendly” (for lack of a better word) which makes reading for people who are intimidated by other cards I have much easier for them.The one and only drawback for me is the size... while they are adorable and fun to use they are pretty tiny. Just a heads up.

Full deck of tiny cards with spark & cuteness! I’ll be using them for clarifying my readings. Love them. Cards are simple, no gilded edges. Should be very useful for traveling too. I keep them in a pouch. There is a tiny book & a full 78 deck.

I have previously used the Rider-Waite deck and found it to be rather "stuffy" for my tastes. I purchased the African Tarot deck at the recommendation of others and love it. I have already used it several times - it has wonderful pictures and I get a great feel from the images and explanations on the cards. You will not be disappointed!

A fabulous purchase. I have not worked with my African Tarot Deck in totality as yet however, the art work is vibrantly lovely and will cause an immediate smile; additionally, the cards feel very comfortable in my hands.

I like the cards but the font is too tiny. The kit should be larger.

The cards are smaller than standard which is fine but they are difficult to shuffle and the booklet is SUPER SMALL font.

These card are small & look like something for children to play snap with. Which isn’t a bad thing, if you like inner child work or playful decks. However I couldn’t gel with the art work being so ‘primitive’ and that’s my challenge when you see the world African you expect and African themed deck not some Eurocentric version of what an African deck might look like. They are more of collectors item that a serious divination tool, the drawings for me cannot be taken seriously they irritated me as there’s nothing African about the deck per sa. Such a shame too because the concept is brilliant and we need more culturally diverse & Rider Waite decks.

Thank you for the prompt delivery and packaging of the African Tarot. A deck for anyone with a playful and open mind, and sees beyond their childlike quality. A must-have for travelling!

These are really lovely cards!! I'm so pleased that I got them now. They are nice & shiny too, so easy to handle without sticking etc.
