Dorman 994-140 Vapor Canister Purge Valve Compatible with Select Ford/Lincoln Models

I purchased this to fix an Evaporative Emissions check light. It was just a few hose clamps that was so easy to replace. I could not be happier with this product. It fixed what the dealership was going to charge me BIG BUCKS and hours to work on my problem. I installed this in less than 15 minutes. If fit perfectly for the replacement. Great and easy to purchase.

Perfect for F150 3.5 Ecoboost 2016, initially I bought a similar looking part but it was slightly different. It was a cheaper price so I bought that ended up not working out and this is an exact replacement. Easy to change yourself. Gas mileage went back up to 17mpg. Check fill inlet for my gas tank was error message I was getting on my info screen. I even took out the old one first and cleaned it out with spray and installed it there. Message went away but I was continually getting or gas mileage so swapping this part back out made all the difference changed ath 130,000 miles.

I installed this unit and it does not work. I tested it and it is defective right out of the box. The solenoid clicks, but does not open the valve to vent the fumes

Installed on my 2013 f150 ecoboost. took about 10 minutes. Stopped the evap code (P144c ). Great price. Haven't had the code pop back on in 3 months.
