My friend loved the series.

I love this show. I couldn’t stop watching it. I was hoping they’d make more. But now that Treat Williams died in a traffic accident I don’t see that happening.

I had to purchase these DVDS after the tragic death of Treat Williams. I binge watched all 6 seasons in 5 days. It was interesting to revisit the series and really see how the characters evolved. Not disappointed. Well worth it if you are a Chesapeake Shores fan.

Chesapeake Shores was a wonderful family drama that I thought got better as it went along. I was never a Jesse Metcalfe fan but I loved the Rob Buckley character that was added in Season 5 - he was a terrific new character - he & his valet Mandrake added some much needed wit & comic energy. The late great Treat Williams is phenomenal in the last two seasons as his character battled pain pill addiction. Williams showed what an incredible actor he really was. R.I.P.
