I have just received this and was compelled to write a review. I thought long and hard whether to purchase based on the comments (mostly good, but some bad), but went ahead and purchased. I am really really pleased to say that this device makes my music from iPhone x sound AWESOME. I was so disappointed with the sound straight out of the phone - not loud enough, and no oomph! My headphones now sound as good as, loud as or better than when plugged into my Mac! Anyone in two minds whether to buy, just go ahead - you won't be disappointed.

Biggest scam I've ever encountered After reading glowing reviews here, I gave it a try as I love sound quality and I have top quality triple drivers IEM, all this does is increasing the volume a bit, which was never a problem before as I never had to put the phone on full volume. I really cant find any difference in sound to the Apple ones which cost a small fraction of this (free with the iPhone 7), and I have my music in lossless format. Other issue I found, using this, my headphones remote control gets a bit messed up, volume up turns into pause. Not to mention this is heavier and bigger than the apple ones, so why buy this at this price? This is not worth more than 20pounds, I feel like you are paying this price just for the packaging/box.

Wasn’t expecting much and that’s what igot

I love this - nice clean, punchy sound and really adds space and separation. This ticked all the boxes for me (lightning, DAC, amp) and is a bit unwieldy in the pocket. I use this all day in the office at work with a pair of Westone W40s and couldn't be happier.
