Really detrimental to your mixer- installing this as a qualified service technician following the exact instructions blew one channel of the mixer. The official advice is incorrect asking you to pull wires and solder them in a different order. For certain mixers that the fader can be swapped out this may be ok, but the lengthy and badly put together guide for pin outs and soldering on mixers that require it will leave you without a mixer. The fault lies entirely on Innofader’s desperation to suit every type of mixer, and the first choice recommendation for my mixer was simply incorrect, many guides and videos on you tube have also pointed this out and subsequently had failures and damaged equipment.The other fail this fader has a very short stubby spine leaving only millimetres for the fader knob to seat. It’s the type of x fader where the knob flies across the room constantly, get used to it this will happen a lot. The wide shape of the metal part also results in the knob being quite thick and chunky.Such a shame really as the build and quality of the unit and packaging is exceptional.

I have a Traktor Z2 and the Innofader Pro 2 fit right into that bad boy with ease. It took about 10 minutes to install it. I would recommend this fader for master Turntablists or for beginners. Either way, it's gonna make cutting and scratching so much easier and so much more precise.

Solid construction, but cutting is less sharp and smooth than most stock crossfaders from analog scratch mixers by vestax or numark
