This particular appliance cord suits as a one for one " OEM" replacement / upgrade for my refrigerator. The fridge we bought had a cord of about 6 feet which does not allow for pulling the fridge forward to clean the floor behind. Problem solved.

Heavy Duty
I used this cord to replace a damaged one on a power strip. It's a bit of an overkill but I don't ever have to worry about the cord being overloaded.

Exactly what I needed
I bought a new dishwasher and the old plug I planned on reusing was straight. The new dishwasher didn't have the same amount of rear clearance as the old one and was bumping against straight plug and couldn't get it in all of the way to mount it to the counter. This 90 degree plug gave me enough room to push the dishwasher all the way back.
