Full Face Respirator

I’m very surprised and pleased. To clarify this is the Goggled style mask not the face shield. I shopped and searched reviews far and wide on Amazon. I wanted a 40 mm NATO Style Cartridge connection with single canister fit only, NOT a combo of canister and and 3M flat side cartridges design and I wanted a simple design of single exhaust breathe vent and only one intake inhale point at the 40mm canister. And ensure I had a quality strap system that should last for the price I pay and most importantly a complete total air seal. This mask does all that at a phenomenal price. Ideally I wanted a face shield style for a more universal face fit and working view but didn’t want to compromise on quality of materials in the face shield that scratch easily etc when considering my price point . These details get tricky to satisfy when reading deep into Amazon reviews and taking a chance on which one I buy . I was happy to got up to the 70$ options and other $99-128$ options on here knowing I don’t have the budget right now to justify or buy the $200 and up full industrial pro grade options. I think if I start naming brands Amazon won’t approve the review.. but let me say first I was also immediately attracted to this age old tested two goggle eye fit style as well , as long as it matched my other criteria, might even say I preferred it as long as it fit me well and comfortable , but there are obviously more options available for face shield style so more shopping options are there . With all that said , there’s a $70-$79 face shield model and brand on Amazon that matches everything mentioned above and has an excellent video review and would be my first choice for best price point face shield style. But the shipping time out on it didn’t match my present need to get it asap. Also there is a known top of the line brand going for $112 package deal with CRBN filter and just the mask itself for $128 and they get great reviews. And would be my top choice over the other model just mentioned. But they also get a lot of reviews reminding that these are Russian copies not the original brand.. not that I have an issue with a Russian copy , as they have a knack for producing some solid original and mimic designs and have good reason to produce a mask you can rely on and after all it literally is the identical mask of the top industrial brand on the market.. however many reviews complained about the quality of the face shield material and it scratching easily. Which leaves my back to the $79 👑 model option .. which I’d be happy with that choice. I needed it now and I also do like the fact that with the goggle design, you do have less area that can get cracked open and break seal so to speak.. goggle design goes way back.. so as long as there wasn’t a nose fit comfort issue .. I’ve no problem and even desire to own a goggle style. I don’t have a small nose 👃. This mask is awesome and you get it with an industrial particulate dust metal filter at the near cost of the filter alone. This is quite possibly and seemingly the highest quality rubber material of any product out of china I’ve seen. I’m sensitive to smells and chemical smells from products and there is absolutely no smell off of this product at all. The rubber material is thick and plyable as good as any quality scuba 🤿 straps or better. The 6 point strap system hugs your head and creates a seal with ease. And it uses metal rectangular ring with metal tubule roller on one side of it to facilitate the movement of the strap through it and the thick hard plastic ratchet mechanism that works with the ribbed band of rubber on the straps to tighten and release.. super easy to use. It tightens and holds and releases with ease. This plastic point of connection and the rivet aspect of where it attaches to the rubber is the only point of weakness in the entire design and I’ve used job respirators for years with much cheaper materials so with the quality of the rubber material and the finish and thickness of the plastic and the design itself doesn’t seem to place pressure on the plastic apparatus or the rubber strap itself in a way that causes any stress on it so I imagine it will last for this process with ease. And the face seals well before you get to the level of tightness on the strap one might use to get snug to the head so you don’t have to have it in a bind to keep it sealed. I’m impressed. I bought a Czech Republic made CRBN filter to go with it and am leaving it sealed and in the packaging just using the metal and benzenes etc filter that came with it for now. Just be sure you’re ready to pull the rubber center seal from the canister the first time you put the mask on with the canister installed because as I said, you don’t need the straps very tight to get a perfect seal and you won’t be able to breathe if you haven’t removed the filter cannister’s rubber center seal. Only thing to note otherwise is that because of the design of the 6 point strap system and the near occipital point where the rubber straps converge out from towards the mask, with the straps fully loose or out , you tend to have to enter the top of your head into the bottom of the opening area between the mask and the back of the straps .. and then move your face forward into the mask and then tighten it down, that if you have long hair you may want to employ a ball cap turned backwards, a bandanna or have a a hoodie on to prevent your head hair from getting under the face seal or caught up in the roller piece on the strap tightening design. But trust me I can pop this mask on no problem with the straps not far released from the position I have it in when fully tightened to my liking and any hair that wasn’t out of the way doesn’t get in the way of the seal … and straps tight and hold and let go with ease .. again impressed

For the price of what you get this seems to be a good buy. It came in a Nice box it had the mask, mask bag, a canister, and instructions. Upon inspection it seem to have good seals and built of good quality. It has lens covers on it so they do not become scratched in the shipping process. The canister is sealed has a sticker with date and has a label of what it stop or covers. The straps and buckles on the back of the mask will do the job just don't go pulling on them with all your might and they should last. If the straps don't pull as they should put a little talc powder on them which should help them slide a little. I will most likely be getting another.

Fits great. Seals nicely. Haven't had any fogging issues.

The manuals should really be model specific. I purchased a 2 pack of the full face that have a filter on each side+center canister. I couldn’t shoulder a rifle with it. I ordered the goggled version with the canister on the left side and when fully strapped on, there is no breathing capabilities. I have the same manual for 2 different models. I know it’s Chinese so no surprise there.

Gas mask for protection against chemical warfare in the air. Be prepare.

For the price of these gas masks they’re worth getting specially since they cover a wide range of disasters that could happen being a survivor of Katrina. I can tell you I really wish I would’ve had a gas mask as nice as us. It came already pretty much together or you have to do, take the plug out of the can and screw it on ice and tight. It goes on very easily. If you know how to put on a gas mask that is make sure you put the back of your head and then pull it down over your face not the other way around or you’ll rip your ears nose off . lol
