It's beautiful. I had one from a different brand that is smaller and less sparkly. I got this for my beautiful neice who is from NZ and love LOTRs. It s a great conversation piece and it's pretty. Perfect for daily wear. I will pro ably get another one for myself bc I like this one so much more.

This Evenstar pendant is beautiful and the chain has a very nice sparkle--absolutely gorgeous, especially when you consider the price! If you are more interested in the pendant being true to size as seen in the LOTR films, then this one is not for you. But if you just want a pendant that is not too large and is truly beautiful, then buy this one! There are many Evenstar pendants to choose from on Amazon, coming in a variety of sizes and prices. Unfortunately, Amazon does a poor job of regulating the content of the listings, and you can pretty much expect them to misrepresent the item you are purchasing. For comparison, I bought this item along with one that cost about 2.5x as much and has an air of "nobility" about it (hint, hint). The two items are pictured side-by-side in this review, as well as front and back with a standard measuring tape between them. It is clear that this item is smaller than the 2.08" advertised, and the comparison item is more accurately sized. Although it's a tough call, I would say that this pendant has more fine detail and is more beautiful than the larger comparison. The chain is also better, and gives a nice sparkle that reminds one of the elvish alloy "mithril." The bail that the chain runs through is also very nice, although the comparison item seems to be a better match to the design seen in the movie.

So beautiful and perfect! Got this to wear for our simple back yard wedding as a surprise to my LOTR loving husband. It is lovely, sparkles beautifully, and is now in a memory box with our photo.

I love this necklace and replica of the Evenstar Arwen and Aragorn wear on Lord of the Rings. It looks exactly like it, very durable. Length was perfect. Does not tarnish or leave residue on your skin from wearing it.
