I recently purchased a Plantronics Focus bluetooth headset, although an expensive product, its worth every penny. To enhance the quality o the headset and distance of headset it is recommended to use a BT600 usb dongle (this is provided when you buy the headset). I use the headset with both my 2014 Macbook Pro as well as a Windows desktop PC. With out the BT600 the quality of the headset on my Mac is very hit and miss. So that I can enjoy the flexibility of using the headset on both Mac and PC I decided to purchase an additional BT600 so that I can use the headset when I am travelling or at work. Pro's: Excellent audio quality, supports Lync, Skype, etc. Listening to music is much improved when using BT600. Con's: Very expensive for what it is. USB-A only, cannot use with USB-C without dongle.

Perfect replacement, worth the buy
Needed a replacement for work. Works perfectly with the plantronics headset. Very happy

Love Plantronics, but expensive
Very expensive for what it does, bit can't complain - prompt delivery, good sound and brought my headset back to life.

How to repair
If you have the headphones and lost the USB or USB is harmed. Once you get the product you need to push the little round thing on the side gently with a needle or pen to activate re-pairing or else it doesn't pair up with your headphones

Very Poor Bluetooth good headset
Avoid these headsets requiring USB. Intermittent connection issues. Headset itself very good quality and comfortable. Good sound quality when working. Shame Bluetooth connection is so temperamental. For Mac Pro you have to carry USB-C hub for this to work

Good but not worth the extra £20.
It works as well as the BT-W2 found here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-BT-W2-Bluetooth-Audio-Transceiver/dp/B0166QUQXC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1506457560&sr=8-1&keywords=BT-W2 except it costs £20 more. If you looking to use your backbeat pro's for music and games then take note that the inbuilt microphone will force it into headset profile and make it useless for music/games/videos with any communication open (teamspeak for example).
