Q: Why not make the twist handle out of stainles steel instead of zinc?

Hi, Thank you for your question. Stainless steel has difficulty to be formed in the twist shape, so , in this case, we use zinc instead of plastic material to enhance its sturdy. However, we really appreciate your valuable feedback and we will keep seeking if there is any other better alternative can be applied to our product. Thank you very much.

Hi, Yes! It could be both a strainer and a stopper. When it is sealed, it would be a stopper, while spinning it out, it could be a strainer.

Q: Is the twist handle plastic? The plastic handles seem to go bad fast.

Hi, The whole basket strainer is made of metal. The head of the twist handle is made of zinc, and the nut in the top of the bottom plate is made of brass. However, please be aware that the central axis of our basket strainer is wider than some similar products with Ø 3/8" Thank you.

Q: Will this brass nut screw onto a plastic drain pipe ?

Hi, The thread size is 1-1/2”-11.5NPSM, and it should be able to be applied to the same size of threaded drain pipe either made in plastic or metal.
