This coffee table book will be something I treasure forever. I am a fan of Leanne Cole's photography, and this book is full of her very special eye and artistic skill. Life leaps off the page, and a very specific life. The photos take you through the six seasons of the ecosystem as defined and revered by the Wurundjeri. A poem runs throughout, making the experience of reading and perusing the book spiritual.At a time when many sacred places are under attack by careless development, the people who strive to give voice and advocacy to these places are heroes.I purchased this book to support Leanne and her very extensive efforts to bring this environment to people's awareness. I applaud her efforts, and I also have a gorgeous and unique book to share with visitors to my home and to look through when I need to connect with nature, art, and poetry.
