Keter Hudson Bench Outdoor Chest Bench - 227 Litre

I do not know why there are any bad reviews for this bench. Easy to assemble. There were no written directions but the pictures were easily understood and all the pieces were clearly marked. I’m only 5’2” and took me less than an hour to put it together by myself. There was one small area of plastic that wasn’t completely punched out but was easily rectified with a box cutter. Feels sturdy and looks great.

This bench is good quality and was pretty easy to put together which took about 20 minutes. The bench feels sturdy when you sit on it. The inside says it holds up to 60 lbs, but my 10 year old that weighs 100 lbs hide in there without it doing any damage. I picked it up with him in there and it handled it just fine.I was worried about the weather proof nature of the bench, but the inside is tightly put together. It isn't water tight but it should keep water out well. The top of the bench has channels on the side to direct water down the side, and weeping slots in the back for it to drain off. It does have 4 small holes in the corners that I'm going to silicone to keep bugs and spiders out.I read several reviews about this being flimsy, but honestly the pictures look like they put it together wrong. If you take care to put it together right, and don't try to force anything together then it goes together just fine.Overall this bench is sturdy and looks to be pretty weather resistant.

Perfect size bench for my small porch! Has enough storage for all my granddaughters outdoor toys that she needs every day! It does not disappoint!😊

Overall like the bench. Assembly was fine although it is hard to snap some parts together and needed to use a rubber mallet a couple times. Also some parts has "hanging plastic" from the manufacturing process that needs to be pulled or cut off for a clean fit. But otherwise it went together pretty easily, took me about 45 minutes from unboxing to having a finished product. Not sure about the other reviewers....looks like they didn't align stuff properly when putting it together (a issue I had at first but was easily adjusted).Love the look of it, looks like a cross between plastic and wood. A lot better then some other brands that are shiny cheap looking plastic. This is the second piece I have gotten from Keter with the first being there very much oversized 160g deck box. This bench will be replacing that and used to store cushions for our patio chairs. Would definitely recommend. Wished I could have bought locally though as the box was pretty beat up from shipping.

My expectations were low given past experiences with snap together products (Rubbermaid shed comes to mind). I was determined to methodically follow the instructions and conquer it! 45 minutes later, I had a completed bench. Well labeled parts, clear instructions, and most importantly, parts were all there and fit together well. Very impressed, it's solid and the lid works well.

Super bad quality. The tabs doesn’t fit in. It is super wobbly. none of the pieces seem to match. This is my second issue with this store. the first purchase I made was canceled due to shipping problems. and now with this purchase everything has gone wrong. the product is useless. and apparently I have to return it to get my money back, when I already partially assembled it. I have to take it to a UPS point and it weighs a lot, do not buy this product. it's a real scam. if i could i would give it 0 rating

Exactly what I needed. Extra seating for outside and holds up to 600#. SIX-HUNDRED POUNDS! I would buy this again. My daughter put mine together with no issues and she plans on buying 2 for her deck at her home. Has great storage for toys and cushions and even has a place for a padlock or carabine to keep your stored stuff secure.

After over a week of rain here in Michigan and time off of work. I finally found time to assemble this thing only to find out they did NOT include the directions!I will be calling for a refund!!!*After a simple Google search, you can download the assembly instructions on-line* This is a sturdy bench that takes about 30 mins to an hour to put together with a Phillips screw driver. I am very pleased with it! My only complaint is no paper instructions included.
