A fun and forgiving electronics kit - great for solo lockdown party.
Velleman put their kits together more like a model with numbers instead of the components listed on the circuit board, I normally enjoy challenging myself by not reading the instructions but you have to on this kit, you will also need a multi-meter as none of the resistors are labelled.I soldered all the resistors first, the solder pads are quite large, larger than required but as a result it is forgiving if you stuff up, the way the circuit board is designed it shares some solder pads as they are on the same path, this came in handy when one of the LED pads delaminated, easy fix as you just solder it to the resistor next to it.As a result the back side doesn't look pretty, large solder pads and bridging looks a bit messy but the front looks superb when complete though I doubt I would be that saddo that would actually wear it, so the clip has gone into my spares box.My cat is deaf so I might pop it on her collar and see if she learns when I'm calling her?/ :pOverall I enjoyed making this kit and it's pretty easy for beginners.

Quality poor!!!
I opened the packaged to find a damaged board, a bit disappointing to be honest. Also missing LEDs.
