Staying just the right side of Broadcasting Standards, the two former teachers enjoyed massive ratings over a decade of quick-fire, occasionally notorious comedy sketches, winning the Silver Rose at Montreux and becoming one of the most mimicked comedy acts in television history. Complete and uncut, this set contains the entire first series alongside the Channel 4 1986 Christmas Special. With legendary bodyguards The Two Rons featuring throughout, each show contains a relentless mix of hilariously barbed sketches and musical numbers, as well as a few appearances from cult favourites Billy and Johnny, the useless children's tv presenters. Regarded as one of the best sketch shows of the last thirty years, this series guest stars Ainsley Harriott, Status Quo, Harry Enfield, Courtney Pine, Rick Wakeman, Helen Atkinson-Wood and Doon MacKichan.

My DVD arrived today & as always, it was securely packaged & delivered with care. I look forward to a trip down memory lane, when nobody was offended by the slightest little thing! As I was watching this, I completely forgot about the Northern Calypso song! Happy days! 😂

A 90's treasure.
Anybody remember watching Gareth Hale and Norman Pace back in the 90's ?I do and the memories were fabulous.I didn't even know if I'd be able to buy the Hale and Pace DVD but after some looking around I found it pretty much straight away and pressed the buy button, glad I did, great show.

Buy this DVD.
Good DVD to replace the VHS we had. The Christmas Special at the beginning is not so good, but once the series episodes start it gets a lot better.

The Naughty boys are finally on UK DVD release
I really never understood why these episodes were never released on DVD so was happy to find out they finally were as I used to really enjoy their run with ITV that really pushed and overstepped the boundaries.

DON’T BUY - DVDS IN PAL FORMAT
Awful company and misleading. These dvds are all in PAL format while North America are on NTSC. Won’t even play in DVD players over here...don’t buy as they don’t stipulate this. I will be returning these
