I can't knock this shirt too much because it is basically what it looks like in the picture. That said, it's very funky. If you are going for a bohemian kind of look, or a throwback to another century (Seinfeld's pirate shirt?) it will work for that. It looks kind of like the upper half of a Victorian-era nightshirt or something you would wear if you were auditioning for "Hamlet." The texture is kind of stiff, like thicker medical scrubs (pull-on shirt, not very stretchable). The drawstring around the chest is functional, but I'm not sure what the point is. If you pulled it tight you would have to tie the strings into a bow and... I don't think that would look any better.I can see this working for some people, though, so don't be too put off when I say it's not for me. Your mileage will surely vary depending on your sex-appeal and eccentricity, but I don't think I'm quite Johnny Depp enough to pull this off in public.

I picked this out in blue for my husband's ren fair outfit. It fit nicely to size (I ordered his tshirt size) and was super comfortable. It was breathable enough to be comfortable all day. The cord is weirdly long, but he replaced it with leather cord.I've washed it on cold, line-dried it, and it came out fine. It's better quality than we expected for the price.

I’m traveling to a warm climate and this shirt is exactly what I needed - very stylish and light weight. The fit is perfect for my build. I would buy it again.
