huge cage for my syrian hammy
100cm 2 floors wow this cage is huge for my hamster but the bigger the better they say , very easy to put together but you may need help as it is tricky to stop it all moving in the assembaly , i think its lightweight the base and its good you can take the metal sides apart for storage etc,any hamster would apprciate the size and space to not be stuck in a tiny cage which is cruel ,upgraded my cage as hammy is bar biting hope this will stop it ? as i also let my ham free roam so she is used to getting out daily /my hanster really is going to have a shock how big his new house is x

Excellent for my tame brown Norway rat!
Nice large cage, perfect for one or two rats. I'm using mine for my tame brown male Norway rat. He has been most pleased and happy with his new cage as an upgrade. I'm glad that I could easily pay in installments as my rat Benny wasn't planned, he was humanely trapped as a healthy youngster in our country garden right before my neighbours poisoned the rest. Benny tamed very quickly, I was petting him in 12 hours on the head and after only 3 weeks he loves going in my dressing gown and being let out in the room to play, so I figured that it wasn't a good idea to release him all alone back into the wild where he could also bother someone else. I have had many domestic rats before and thought that I wasn't having anymore, but... I ended up with a tame wild rat on my desk who's surprisingly even better behaved than some of the domestic ones and clean from diseases because he came from a clean environment to begin with. Apparently the wild ones are pretty much the same as the domestic rats; only a bit more skittish and they also avoid biting. But Benny has proven himself to be very intelligent, clean, empathetic and trainable and I am very pleased with him and his big cage which was a huge upgrade from his former temporary hamster cage that was too small. Thank you very much!

Great size, but had measurement issues and two missing parts but my mice are happy.
This cage is a good size, however, the slots in the platforms were badly miss aligned and I had to carve new ones so that they would fit. There were also two missing parts (the outer clasps that keep the wire of the cage attached to the base) Fortunately I had an old cage with clasps that I could use, but this would be a real headache for someone who doesn't have this. I will say that there are way more positives than negatives. The roof opening is really convenient as it can be partially or fully open, which is great if you have hammocks or hanging toys. The side opening is much larger than expected, which means that it is far easier to handle your pets or top up their food and water.I like that it didn't come with a wheel, as the ones that come with cages are never the right size, and are a waste of space and just get thrown out.The cage is massive, and it makes it much easier to see your pets, and the black wire isn't as distracting as the white wire. Over all I'd recommend this cage for mice, but not very young mice as they'd get out through the bars.

Would absolutely not recommend this cage! (badly designed and unsafe)
Got this cage to house 2 baby rats for a while till they could be introduces to our other rats in a bigger cage. While the cage size if good, it is horribly designed, and very bad quality! As there is only the 3 tiny doors on the front it is very had to access and handle the rats, let alone try to spotclean. The platforms are made from cheap plywood, so they absorb pee and food spills staining the platforms and making them hard to clean. The top gate does make it easy to access the top platform, but is useless if trying to access anything but the top platform. (and most rodent really dont like you hovering over them so it is very bad when you are trying to bond with a nervous baby rat)On top of we even had to use plastic strips to lock some of the side doors, as a 250g rat jumping onto and climbing the wall could call the door to jump open!If you are considering getting this case DONT!I would recommend a Critter Nation 161 (we have one with and it is roughly the same size, but with much better big front opening doors, it is around 60£ more expensive but 100 times better cage, both for you and for your little furry friend!)

Great sized cage, our Syrian hamster absolutely loves it.
I bought the two tier 100cm wide cage in grey. It looks a much lighter grey in the picture and it's actually a medium/dark grey which is a shame but not the end of the world. It was really easy to put together, I assembled it on my own and it took about 10 -15 minutes. We bought our hamster a week ago and bought a 'starter cage' from the pet shop, after getting home and researching we realised the starter cages are not suitable and far too small. The last few days Bear McBiggles was starting to appear unhappy in his cage and was trying to break free. We thought we had a lazy hamster as he would wander around his cage for 5 minutes and then go back to bed. But since getting this cage he is really active, he now plays on his wheel constantly which he didn't do before and loves to explore. He has climbed the entire height of the cage a few times and fallen back down. I panicked the first time but he was ok. He does like to launch himself off the first floor platform, I'm just hoping he doesn't attempt to jump off the second floor platform as it's pretty high.We had bought a large hamster wheel and it easily fits in this cage.We had been considering a wooden cage as they look lovely but we were worried about how long it would last and if it would get urine stained and mouldy, so we decided to go for this as it looked like it would be easier to clean. We haven't cleaned it yet as it just arrived but I can tell it will be as easy as the starter cage, just on a much bigger scale.I also like the fact that we can get accessories to hang from the side bars and roof bars.

Great
Great item worth the money and Syrians hamster loves it! Big in size and allows borrowing and stops monkey barring. Wheel was too small and house. First came broken and I returned it and seller gave back straight away with no false. Can't fit 12 inch wheels so had to get smaller. Other than that it was great
