Would like to see evidence to support claims
This product is intended to have a dual-action effect: long-term improvement in skin appearance (as implied by "revitalise cell metabolism") and an instant cosmetic effect (as implied by "instant blurring and smoothing effect")As for the instant effect, I was nowhere near as impressed as many of the other reviewers. I applied it to the fine lines around one eye, and compared it to the untreated eye. I thought (for about 5 seconds) that there was an improvement in the treated eye area, but the longer I looked, the two eyes just looked about the same. There was a slight swelling (not reddening, just plumping) in the area where the cream had been applied, which might suggest extra hydration, but I can't be sure. It wasn't a dramatic enough effect to be sure it was even there, never mind justify £60 for a tiny 25 ml pot.The fragrance is light and inoffensive, and the texture is pleasant and non-greasy - sort of like a thick custard, except that it absorbs nicely into the skin. It feels cool and tingly, like menthol rub but without the menthol smell.As for the long term effects - this is really difficult to judge on an individual basis, as so many factors (including user expectations and perceptions) can cloud the results. For this kind of price, I would have preferred more specific claims as to what exactly it is intended to do, what the objective measure of success would be, and evidence that these claims and objectives can be delivered - in short, if you're going to charge gold dust prices, spend a little money on a clinical trial and provide objective evidence that it actually does something.So, a little underwhelmed, but if you've got plenty of money to spare, it has a nice moisturising / hydrating effect.

All this disappears very quickly, within a few minutes. Ok face cream, great hand cream.
Im 44 and the wrinkles are slowly starting to appear, a few lines by my eyes and some little ones on my forehead. I started applying it (be carful if you are applying it to your eye area as you can feel it tingle, I would hate to rub this into my eyes.) and to be honest I only felt that the lines where disappearing slightly. I found this rather disappointing.So I thought I would try it on my right hand as I have worked with chemicals while at work over many years and it looks 10 years older than my left hand. I started applying it and I noticed the effects almost over night. It moisturise my hand, the dry wrinkled were smoothed out. My hand was not dry and itchy. Over all as a face cream maybe it will start to work. As a hand cream its great.

I was mildly enthused, but my mother loves it
The pleasant-looking jar has a nice generously sized lid, which makes it easy for those with bad hands to open without difficulty.The serum itself is not a moisturiser as such - it acts in a similar way to botox in that it relaxes the facial micromuscles and puffs the skin, thus smoothing the surface of the skin and obscuring creases and lines.It seems to be more effective on older skin: I'm a 46 year-old male with relatively young skin that doesn't seem to show much effects, although it feels nice; my 73 year-old mother swears by it, though - to my eyes I can't see much of a change at all, but she says that the difference is massive - claiming that her skin feels a lot tighter and smoother.A very small amount does go a long way, but even so this is a very expensive product that I wouldn't normally be able to afford, and probably wouldn't buy. But my mother would. She loves this company obsessively now ☺

Smart-looking serum
I have never used a serum. My wife swears by them. I do too when I see the price.My wife says that this works. I can see a difference though I am not sure that there is any greater difference than using a moisturiser. It works not by reducing wrinkles and lines but by temporarily moisturising the skin and hiding lines & wrinkles.The cream isn't oily (as you would expect from a serum). It is matt (which is critical, to help hide lines & wrinkles).Serums contain active ingredients and omit thickeners. Therefore they are more expensive. You only need to use a tiny amount at a time.The container looks very smart.My wife really likes this. I have deducted one star due to the price.
